Little Captain kicks a lot. Sitting on the rocker kicking, he almost fell off.
His legs are almost constantly swinging in the air... and he advanced to lifting up his bum bum with the help of resistance of his leg against the rocker. Impressive. Hehehe....
Sometimes he kicks so hard it indicates that he is trying to do big business.
He was quite hard to soothe on 7th March, my patience fell short and whacked him on his thigh. He gave quite a good responses i.e. loud cry! Sorry baby.
He grabs and pulls napkins, my hair, my blouse and also his own hair. The strand on top that is the longest. Even in his sleep.
He usually sleep like this in the cot. Mostly sleeps on his own with the help of the pacifier.
Every midnight, after I get up to feed him. When put him back into the cot, he would need pacifier to fall back to sleep again.
One morning I woke up to find him moved a little from his original sleep position.
Lian also said he's now able to move by kicking.
Lian put him to sleep sideways. He looks so comfortable in that posture. Lian say he sleeps longer.
Went to work with that stains.
Another time he stained my pants. His poop really power... very hard to wash away that stains.
Joshua has found the way to make him laugh i.e. tickle his stomach. :) He laughs in a high pitch baby tone.
Threads got stuck in his baby hair and I had to carefully cut out the hair that got tangled up with the thread. It's risky to cut because he kept moving and looking around. So far I've cut 3 times. I don't remember Jasmine had this this frequent.
He likes to look away when he's not hungry. Sometimes he seemed uncomfortable, I didn't know he was actually sleepy and needed help to put him to bed. I thought he was hungry but apparently not.
Yep confirm sleepy.
Since we got the Graco playpen, Jasper has been spending quite a lot of time in here.
Diaper changes, nap, play time...
In church, that Sunday Joshua serves all 3 services. Anne was with me. So thankful for her.
The infant cap was given by Adeline Chang. It's already too small for Jasper but still look so cute!
I love his baby frown. :)
Here's how we use the huge train blanket from Ah Ma. Put on the floor and let Jasper release some baby energy. We started him on tummy time training here & in his baby cot too.
Jasmine likes to go close and so we have to supervise. :)
It's not easy to have a photo where all 4 are smiling and looking at the camera.
This is quite alright but Jasmine was still a little blurry.
This is where I sit to breastfeed every night when he wakes up. Right next to his cot.
That weekend Ah Ma & Jiu Jiu came to Subang Jaya, main reason to see Jasmine who just recovered from the allergic reaction. And Jasper got a lot of quality time spent with Ah Ma too.
Ah Ma likes to talk to him, even pull a stool to sit next to his Graco playpen to play with him. :)
We went to Naughty Nuri at Courtyard for dinner. Jasper was such a good boy, sleeps in the cot with the help of pacifier. :D
We were back in Muar end of the month, and was planning to shave him bald at the salon. But Joshua felt so hard to shave him, he read online where an article said shaving is not proven to promote hair growth in babies. Hair folicles are genetic etc. So that made Joshua more firm in saying no to shaving baby Jasper.
I love this above picture a lot... Jasmine's peppa pig smile while insist on holding Jasper's hand. And Jasper's usual blur or shocked look, scanning around, not knowing we are taking pictures. :) :)
I have tried to plan family portraits monthly during Jasmine's time, but we sort of slack after few months... and now I am forcing myself to be back at it again. I may not be able to remember every month but it's still better than not doing at all, isn't it?
We had to remember to buckle him.

He continues to eat his hand.. this month, his whole fist!
His BCG scar is getting infected and I could see the yellow pus right under the skin.
I showed to Dr. Jill and she said it's very normal. Once the pus burst, all I need to do is wipe it out, let it dry. Before Dr Jill reply me, I showed to Evelyn, she suggested that we apply fucidin cream which we also did. So finally Jasper's BCG scar burst one evening after church, after bath. I used at least 4 cotton buds to clean up for him. And coincidentally he was wearing the house t-shirt with holes. It was very suitable because the scar need to dry up and heal. :)
After a long weekend with us at home, direct feeding without bottle. He refused milk at Lian's house. We also suspect maybe the frozen milk taste different and he doesn't seem to like it.
Baby dedication class. :) He is the oldest here. Baby Joshua in pink in middle was born 2 days later than him and baby Zyon on the left was born 3 weeks after him. :) I like it that he's the fairest and most sharp looking dude!!
12th March, his dedication Sunday! Behaved so well in front of stage, just staring around, No crying no cranky behaviour.

We also started using the peppa pig muffler to protect those baby ears from loud music.
One thing we realised, everytime he makes a fuss, it was because he was sweating! He is really a sweaty baby compared to Jasmine's. The back of his hair gets wet almost everytime we carry.
For example, when we took him along to attend Jerome's birthday party at KL park... ohh that hot hot weather. He couldn't sleep in the cot and kept crying to be carried.
After he did his poop business on the morning of 12th March, he didn't poop for 4 days! We were worried, thinking whether to send to clinic or to start giving Lactul... finally on 17th March after Jasmine and I prayed in the car, Jasper finally got his poop out during Jasmine's dinner time!!
It was all watery and yellow but I was so glad to see him finally able to release them without medication.
It was time for his jabs - pneumococal RM250 and DTP RM150 at Dr Liews. He cried so loud when Dr jabbed him.
He weighed 7.2kg. Doctor said he still wasn't that stiff when being held up right so shouldn't be flipping or crawling that soon. I am totally fine with that. Take time to grow up ok Captain? :)
That night after jabs, he had low grade fever. 37.5 degrees. We were contemplating whether to give him the fever medicine but Evelyn said probably just sponging will do.
We followed and thank God the next day fever is all gone!
Monday morning, he pooped just before I go to work so had to wash him in my work clothes, stained my blouse a little bit. I asked Joshua to snap a photo of the happy baby, and while taking picture he almost peed on me and on the floor!
Thank God I had a towel in my hand.

Joshua and I kept taking turns because we were both melting like an ice cream too. Really should've bought a fan for him. That's officially in my purchase list.
Half way through I changed him into his lobang singlet that has the most ventilation. Still, he was fussing quite a lot.

Hurray, good job Jasper!!
14th March, Jasmine had an allergic reaction and I took EL to stay home with them the next day. Because we didn't plan this, I didn't take the bath tub back from Lian's house. So my little man had to bath in one of our ikea trofast bins. No one was home to help me snap photos but I can say, the bin is a tad too small for him! :) He's quite a big guy.

And after I brush away the stain, the colour of my Hush Puppies pants faded. -_-

Common situation at home - needs to be carried during Jasmine's meal time. Otherwise he kicks and kicks and get frustrated in the rocker.
Either hungry or sleepy...Yep confirm sleepy.
Since we got the Graco playpen, Jasper has been spending quite a lot of time in here.
Diaper changes, nap, play time...
Jasmine steals away the green stars quite often but there's another musical mobile on the lower left corner. He kicks it hard!
Train theme bed set given by Ah Ma. He often sweat and wet the bedsheet so putting a layer on top to absorb that sweat is quite practical.
We still do diaper changes on the counter in our room but definitely cannot leave him alone anymore.
Not even when sleeping.
At homes, all the aunties love to carry him and talk to him.
We had lunch and then spend time walking around Summit mall, including a toys sales at concourse area. But half way Jasper woke up from sleep and was hungry. It was really tough. Summit has no nursing room, weather was hot and Jasmine was sleepy & cranky on the stroller. -_-
Drenched in sweat, I carried Jasper, able to calm him for a while, but the hungry grew and grew.. he started crying and sucking my hand and my blouse... so we eventually sat down at Chatime to feed. Need better planning when we go out!
I love his baby frown. :)
I don't mind this blur look as well. :D
This picture caused me to fall in love with him over and over again. My beautiful boy.
I kept telling Joshua that I want to have more photos with my babies, so here we are on a random weekday night. Snapping photos before we get both ready for bed. :)
It's not easy to have a photo where all 4 are smiling and looking at the camera.
This is quite alright but Jasmine was still a little blurry.
This is where I sit to breastfeed every night when he wakes up. Right next to his cot.
Jasper is getting chubby. Although not as chubby as Jasmine was but at least he's not skinny. :D
And this. Is by far the best picture taken by Anne Ah Yi. Hehe. She always snaps pictures from a very nice angle, focusing on the things she wants to remember. :) Artsy.Ah Ma likes to talk to him, even pull a stool to sit next to his Graco playpen to play with him. :)
We went to Naughty Nuri at Courtyard for dinner. Jasper was such a good boy, sleeps in the cot with the help of pacifier. :D
Jasper also has this shocked look, looking around and scanning around the room.. from left to right, right to left. :)
Being next to jie jie Jasmine, Jasper is obviously catching up in size and length. In fact they can wear same tops and pants. Only Jasmine has longer legs.
One thing people often commented - Jasper is tan... oh dear, I was quite sure he will be as fair as me because of the colour of his fingers when he was born! But now he's already 4 months old... I think he might have my mummy's tan skin.
That weekend, we load up the Graco playpen at the back of Serena to bring back to Muar.
When we drive back, we took back a lot more things. So glad we took the playpen back to Muar. So much easier!
Meals outside in Muar, Ah Ma always volunteers to carry him.
He likes to stretch and lie down a certain way... which is so funny, mummy will ask me "you see, he wants to be like this" Haha.
He also likes to be carried by Ah Yi. :)
Family portraits for March! My aim again, to have family photos every month. My own KPI to myself. :)

And these moments are definitely worth to be captured... :)
