Jasper has been playing with Jasmine's doll, touching the doll eyes. I am not too concern on him playing with it. After some weeks, he even know how to put the doll onto the stroller. :) Here's him playing with a pink tea pot. Haha. Growing up with a big sister means u start off with lots of pink toys!
Jasper eats bread. Yeay! I do hope he can eat bread so that it will be easier for me to feed when we are on the go. But.... he is not very consistent with his eating preferences. By end of the month, is only half half chance he will enjoy eating bread.
This weekend, Ah Ma and Ah Yi were around. We went to church together :)
He is getting more and more picky when it comes to meal time. He turns away persistently when he decided enough is enough. -_- When he's sleep, he doesn't eat well. When he's hungry, he doesn't sleep well. -_- We took him to Mothercare one night, to buy long pants for Taiwan trip. He was so cranky when we try the pants on him. He was crying non stop and didn't want other people to carry him. Once we were done picking his clothes, I had to feed him outside Mothercare until he fell asleep... then only we continue. Drama king Jasper!
One Saturday morning, Jasper peeped in his diaper as usual, while playing in front. I noticed and washed him up. When I return to the play area, I noticed a part of his poop on the floor!! I thank God he didn't see it because he will definitely try to put it into his mouth. @.@ I still don't know how this poop ended up on the floor.
And he knows no danger.
He was very interested with the food cover, using it as a hat, sort of.
And start screaming and spinning around. It's very funny.
We sort of hear him say in his baby language "hah low?"
When he sees Jasmine with a milk bottle, he always try to snatch it. Occassinally when Jasmine finishes her milk, he will grab the bottle just to chew on the teat.
Now his turn to get shoulder rides from daddy.
Ready for Taiwan! I bought 2 hats from e-bay and they've finally arrived. Boy themed beannies!
19th Nov, we attended a wedding dinner (Wei Chee's wedding) together, he was sleepy and slept till 9pm. Joshua rocked him to sleep because I was wearing heavily beaded kebaya top. We had to wake him up at 9pm to avoid him refusing to sleep at night. Thank God he didn't give much problem that night.
He's wearing the overalls that Shin Wee bought, it's too nice I have to make sure he keep wearing it. :D
20th Nov, in church he skipped morning nap. Finally slept at 12.45pm... but when we reach home at 1.30pm, he woke up and refuse to sleep again until 5.30pm-7pm. It drives us crazy when his nap time is messed up because this means both kids sleep at different time = we can't rest at all. @.@
20th Nov, he refuse to eat.... he just rejects food so persistently. Dinner I was the only one feeding him and I got really impatient (due to insufficient rest and the determination to discipline him), i beat his arm whenever he spits out the food until his arm were very swollen red. I feel really really bad about it but I want my kid to eat when it's time to eat. When Anne came back, he heard the door and was looking for help!
And Jasper suddenly have 2 green water bottles. One belongs to Jasmine, one belongs to Issac. Ok Jasper, patience, I'm getting you the same one but different colour. ;) Found on Caroussell!
Now to make sure his nap time are in place, we have to rock him to sleep esp. morning naps. I find that using ergo is much more effective! Yeay!
27 Nov, Jasper vomitted on me after eating steam egg cooked with overnight cracked eggs from Aeon Big. Lesson learnt, never give suspicious food to baby. :( Sorry Jasper.
Jasper loves to chew on the aluminium case diaper cream (the one Gaby our neighbour gave). If we take it away from him he cries. And when we say no to him chewing, he cries too, with lots of tears.
This boy has managed to take 4-5 steps in a row but we still couldn't video it down. -_- We tried to video but he would rather crawl. And when we were not ready, he will walk. @.@
He is playing with the frog phonics toys, like playing puzzle. putting the alphabet into the hole and press. He's quite a patient boy and quite knowing.
Also, he likes to put small items into basket or bin and shake shake shake for the noises. :)
2nd Dec, he took 8 steps!! (Finally got it on video!!)
3rd Dec, he took 10-15 steps!!
We had a family celebration for his birthday that Saturday - 10th December!
This is the consequence of skipping morning nap. Always need morning nap.
4th Dec, a new swing at our SS15 playground. Finally a swing that Jasper can sit in. :)
He knows how to play hide and seek. Like when I hide behind the door and suddenly peeked at him, he understands the game and laugh. When I hide again, he tries to look for me behind the door. :D
We bought new bottle (orange Tupperware) for him... thinking he will drink water properly but he started playing with water. Drinks and spits out. :(
5th Dec, he was down with fever and cough. Vomitted at 2am. And then he didn't sleep until 3.30am after taking him to the living room. I tried to lie down to sleep while he watches the tv but he kept screaming at me for my attention. I tried using ergo and didn't help either. Pacifier rejected and all he wanted was to play. @.@ boy.... it was tough.
6th Dec, he gets up HOURLY. 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am, 6am. He used to wake up 1/3/5 or 2/4/6, and that itself is already suffering to me.
7th Dec, we suspect he wake up hungry! So we started feeding him 2 ounces of formula milk on top of my breast milk before he sleeps. I wonder when did Jasmine start her night milk? I hope I did document downnn.. need to read back.
8th Dec, took him to see Dr. Liew for his coughs... he weighs only 9kg and hated the nebulizer treatment. He struggles strongly and Joshua had to lock him tightly and still he manage to push the neb tubes away few times with his legs.
He took this as if someone was skinning him. -_- And jasmine was singing to him from the side. Haha.
And I will miss this almost toothless smile, with the finger in the mouth. So Jasper.
One weekend he saw me eating banana in the living room and came over. I fed him and he ate them up in chunks! But.... when I try feeding him the same again few days later, he spits out. He can eat pinenuts too. When I feed Jasmine, he seems very interested so I gave him some too.
5th Nov, he woke up 3 times throughout his nap... and then at night he vomited out his dinner. And then he vomit another round when he coughs at night. I suspect he has a lot of phlegm that caused the vomit. I was so smelly because of the vomits on my clothes!
6th Nov, at 4am, I woke up to feed him as usual but he was crying even after I fed. I thought he must be still hungry, could be my milk was not enough so I went downstairs to make formula milk. 2 scoops in 3 oz water, tried to feed him but got rejected. He just kept crying until Jasmine also woke up. I had to take him to my room, put him on the floor mattress where he plays with the singing bus... and eventually fell asleep on my lap. I put him down on the mattress and slept next to him. Then at 6am, he woke up for another feed. @.@

6th Nov, I finally pick up the scissors and trim his hair at 9.30pm! :) He kept on looking back at me when I attempt to cut.
So many times just as I was going to cut, he turn and I lose the strand of hair. -_-
Ah Yi helped to distract him.
He looks more boyish and head looks rounder after the trim.
His legs are very strong. It was already very evident during his infancy stage. During bath time, he can kick so hard sitting in the bath tub, until half the water gone. Water could splash so high until we can get really wet sitting next to it. In our room, the chest drawer, he can CLIMB up to reach for the things on it. We were surprise! This boy can climb out playpen or cot anytime. Rock climber in making.

12th Nov back in Muar for photoshoot. Dressed him up in my all time favourite white onesie with his best looking pair of jeans. It was Jasmine's but she only wore it a handful of times. Jeans doesn't speak girly to me. Glad Jasper can put it to good use!
He was not easy to be entertained throughout... worse thing is NO ELECTRICITY due to heavy rain.
All of us were soaked in sweat.
Jasper loves the fridge after Ah Ma show him in Muar. It's now his happy place. :)

11th Nov, he refused to take afternoon nap. I tried everything - ergo carrier (where he struggle to escape), sing and rock.. all failed. He finally only slept at 6pm and then we were going to Shin Wee's house, he was very cranky in the car. He played in shin wee's house, and then he became very very sleepy and sensitive. Jack said no to him eating a toy and he immediately burst into tears. Oops. The moment Jack saw him, he said he looks like me. :)

He is using a lot of Jasmine's toys (the cooking car) and stools as his walker. Even in his bedroom too, he can hold on to the small green chair and walk forward.

He likes to chew on this clear bag that we keep clean diapers in the diaper bag.
He loves to play with the peppa pig ball. And I open the new spiderman ball too.
And someone loves the duck float too!

But we really should just let him wear his shoes, right!
And we officially say goodbye to the stethoscope. It wasn't Jasper who broke it but after Jasper play with it this time, I felt it was pointless to keep.

On 14th Nov, he took his first step! in the living room in the evening. But only 1 to 2 steps. We didn't manage to video it down.
His poop is so powerful that even after we wash and wipe clean... with soap... his private part will still smell sour. -_-
Now Jasper knows how to scream angry when Jasmine snatches his toys away. This boy has temper like... me.. :P Eg. when he was playing with the big ball, Jasmine takes away he will show his temper.

He plays with the wooden cabinet in the skyroom and has gotten his baby chubby fingers trapped in there few times. Another place he got his fingers trapped in the red chest drawer in kitchen. He wants to touch the things inside. If we close it he will cry.

One afternoon, I was home with both kids. At 1.30pm I took both of them out to sit on the swing. Jasper fell asleep while swinging and it was Jasmine who pointed out to me that didi sleeping.
Jasper laughs when I roll my eyes. Joshua and Jasmine tried to do the same thing but he didn't find it that funny.

He is progressing very fast at Lian's house, in terms of taking steps. I was actually very worried he may learn walking there and I will miss the whole phase. :(
He imitates us and Jasmine. When he holds a toy he tend to pretend it's a phone.
Especially when we say hello! He will be "on the phone". Also, he used the scoop to touch the bear like how Jasmine do feeding the bear. And this boy already trying to keep the Dr Seuss books into the box - saw Jasmine does it almost every night.

I am so sorry Jasper... sorry that mummy caused you such pain, but you really have to eat... Well, I guess maybe he had his nap time messed up that affected his appetite? :(
21st Nov, we finally set up Christmas tree together at night. When Joshua and Jasmine happily took out the tree from the box, Jasper got shocked and cried.
He was frightened by the christmas tree... but after he warmed up to the tree, especially the ornaments... he managed to bite through at least 3 ornaments. :(
Monday night, maids day. Joshua was upstairs with both kids. I heard him laughing and said "Jasper's drinking from the bottle!" Apparently Jasmine left her bottle on the bed, and Jasper just crawled over and started drinking from it, all by himself. Well done, boy! Skipped sippy cup. I completely am clueless what's the use of sippy cup! I never had to use one.
He is starting to stand up on the Ikea high chair. We are trying to discipline him not to stand, so we start to buckle him up. When we are out and the high chair doesn't have buckle... we have to beat him on his thighs.
Jasper's first time in my office! On the way back from Lian's, I suddenly remember I left 3 cartons of milk in office fridge. It's a rather long weekend, I decided to go back to pick it up.
When he is latched on drinking, he will stop to make baby noises "ik jah!" or "heh jak". :)
He speaks this baby language a lot these days but it is so hard to video. Everytime we video, he is all quiet. -_-
And he started to express himself like "wooooo!' and "wahhhh".
Called "mama!" frustratingly when in the morning I was busy getting ready for work and didn't pay enough attention to him.
Exploring new territory. Once he sees us open the cabinet door, he will crawl at lighting speed just so he can touch the things inside. Haha.
He still gets up 2-3 hourly in middle of night and always already sitting in cot when I go over.
We took him to Sunway Lagoon pool again! I had to walk all the way back to the car to get the sun block for the kids. -_-
This time I went in.
We hide behind the shade because it was very sunny. And I feed him his lunch.
I went for annual dinner and they were both with Joshua. He refused dinner (suspect due to insufficient sleep again) and hardly eat... until Joshua opened up the pack of carrot sticks.

Birthday family picture! Feeding medicine to Jasper is quite a task! He hates medicine. When eating medicine crying and struggling to escape, you get a supportive girl at the side singing twinkle twinkle little star. :)
His favourite song is the shark song and he can follow the hand moves! Impressive for a one year old! He points with the finger.. and occassionally does the fish hand moves. And "ahhh" at the shark coming part. :)
One thing only I can do now, is to stay home with both kids whole day when Lian needs a day off. Why me? Because Joshua cannot breastfeed. It drives me crazy to be home all day... worse if I don't get to take my own nap. But this picture reminds me... to appreciate these little moments... with my cute little ones.
This is when Anne was home to help take some pictures. See here, both kids wants me to carry. :) But at that spur of moment, I was frustrated! I had full face of sweat and look at my ugly hair with the bald spot on top. Sigh....
Remind myself, to be patient with this clingy boy.... he will one day not need his mama anymore.
