Early this month, Uncle Charles came back to Malaysia and Jasmine met her Jiu Gong again. This time, she will remember more. :) She was eating oranges on the dining table and told Jiu Gong it's sour, and then Uncle Charles kept correcting her it's sweet. I told him she likes sour. He was surprised he thought that she was complaining when she said it's sour. Haha. This kid likes sour! She's got macadamia nuts and pine nuts all the way from San Francisco.
We had multiple big family dinners.
She played with Janice again. So it seems she prefers Janice over Kathy. Poor Kathy, switches her efforts on Jasper.
When we were having mega family meals, we have to split up to 2 tables. She made request twice to sit with Ah Ma who is at another table. And then she asked Ah Ma for peppa pig videos. -_-
3rd July, we let her decide whether to go to Acts Kids or follow Ah Ma & Jiu Jiu shopping. She decided to follow Ah Ma & Jiu Jiu. We asked and confirmed multiple times. She is firm with her decision. ;)
When Yi Wu came to our house, she plays with him too.
We were at Empire, helping Jiu Gong to buy pants at Uniqlo. She was bored so Joshua took her to walk around. She saw the kids ride and wanted to sit in it. She already learnt that if u put money into it, the ride can move and play music too. But Joshua did not have enough coins. They came back to Uniqlo to ask us. Ah Ma gave some but still not enough. It's a merry go round ride, so per ride is about RM3. They only had RM1.70. So they stood there to wait until another kid came along and Joshua share out the cost with the parents. :) Joshua said it's a very good lesson for her. Things don't come free.. learn the value of money.
When I was angry with koko who drove another car for dinner (with the big gang), I was scolding in Serena, she cried and said "mummy no angry!" I said sorry to her and went on to scold again and she cried and said "mummy u again!" -_- Well she also told me "mummy cannot scold daddy" "mummy cannot beat daddy".
One weekday night, we were at Taiping shop having dinner and just before we went I had to tell her we are going shopping in order to get her excited to go out. It was a mistake on my part which I will not do again, because we can't lie to little kids. :) Anyway after dinner she remember we were suppose to go shopping. @.@ Right in front of our car was the electrical shop and she saw washing machine. She said she wants to buy washing machine. We were waiting for Joshua who took Jasper along to browse at stuffs in the shop. So we had a fun conversation in the car. I asked her why do you want to buy the washing machine? She said she wants to wash herself with the washing machine. By the way the way she pronounce washing machine is the cutest. :) Like "mashin mashin?"
Other funny things she said this month.
- I want to see mirror. Why? Because I am beautiful.
- Mummy can I sleep/shui jiao for a while? Mummy can I sleep for a while again?
(later this month I cannot just replied "yes" or "ok", she fixed that I must say "ok you can shui jiao for a while")
- Why cannot?
- Got melody (neighbour dog in Muar) or not?
- parmesan = injection
- bottle bottle = water bottle
- Look at Jasper and said "so handsome"
- Asked me why I touch "didi nen nen" when I was clipping my bra
- stopper door (door stopper)
When I ask her to look for something, she will say "didn't see". And when she's on the scooter and the scooter cannot move forward, she says "didn't go".
Living room playtime, usually when MKR is on. She doesn't seem to be able to finish her vitagen these days so we stop buying. It's sugar drink anyway.
Games with Ah Yi are somewhat different and refreshing. Learn different things from different adults.
At home, when she was playing with the singing bus, there were many buttons and she pretended that it's her computer. She said "mummy pig come and help me with the computer". She plays with the buttons like keyboard. :)
When I picking her up from Lian's house, she said "come for me" and then corrected herself "Come with me" to "catch fish". She pretended she caught a fish and in the car, she put the fish into her mouth. I told her, no you cannot eat it because we have not cooked it yet. How? She said she "pui 出来“ and hold in her hand. I told her lets show daddy the fish, ask daddy to cook it and we all can share and eat. That's what we did. :D This pretend games are getting more and more popular for Jasmine and we try to do things differently once in a while.
Back in Subang Jaya, one day after bath I was dressing her half way, we were talking about being strong. I taught her to say I am strong and show her muscles. And I told her to run to the other room to show to Joshua. She was so funny. Now she kept pointing to her elbow when we ask where is her muscle, still need reminders that her muscles are on the arm.
On the way to Lian's house. Most times she sleeps through. When she gets up, she would be blur or drowsy. Hardly answers to my questions in the car.
She is able to wear her own seat belt when we put her in the car seat, except she need our help to clip it in.
We went back to Muar, during the Raya long weekend.
At the breakfast place, she requested for this ride. We had to changed coins with the stall behind in order to buy this ride.
Just before we enter the house, she was doing some march here.. and we saw some malay kampong kids & their parents walk pass our house.
Taught her how to say "Selamat Hari Raya" to them from our gate and she learn it quite fast. In the afternoon, we then took her for house visitation at Faiz house. This is Faiz's niece, Jasmine likes her a lot. Kept following her & the grandma around the house while we eat our curry & ketupat in the dining area.
Plan to send her to learn futsal in 2017, they start taking in when kids are turning 4. :)
The chopping board was for me to fan Jasper while we were all outside, and she took it as prop to take a cool picture.
I taught her the hand fist pose.
Her version of serious or cool look.
When sitting together with Ah Ma at the rock chair at back garden, she suddenly said she wants to eat cheese. She has not taken cheese for a long time. Talk about randomness. Haha.
7th July, we were in Muar, she loves to eat the peanuts that my mummy bought. But because it is lunch time we only gave her one. She held in her hand and didn't eat it even until we enter the car and she needed to use both her hands to wear the seat belt. So she put it into her mouth but still didn't chew on it. When we talk to her, she replied with the hand covering her mouth, fearing it will drop. She kept it safely in the left side of her mouth... after a while she bite half but still didn't finish it all until quite a while later. Joshua is glad, that she learn to appreciate things she "earn". :D
We were in Wetex and she wants to buy milo nuggets. Taught her to pay money to cashier.
10th July, we were having pumpkin milk at 1988 restaurant, she too has one cup of her own. She blows bubbles into it, like peppa pig.
We taught her different faces - angry / happy / sad and she applied it almost instantly. Of course she applied angry face first. When I scold her, she pointed at me "angry face!". Then on 11th July when I asked her sternly to stop playing and go upstairs. She made a sad face. Haha.
This is how Ah Ma prepares meals for her in Muar. With lots of love and details. :)
We spent time in the kitchen, eating peanuts, talking to Ah Ma while I clean the birds nest for everyone to eat.
Ah Ma taught Jasmine how to say "Good!"
Naptimes in Muar this time is this sofa at the game corner with didi's playpen. Both AC & fan will be on for them.
Meal times outside, tried to get her to do some drawing..
There is sort of a music corner upstairs where organ and the 古筝is. We went up there and she played with both. Thoroughly enjoyed herself.
Ah Yi demonstrate.
The organs plays all kinds of music & beats at adjustable speed & volume. So eventually we modified it to be her dance party sessions. We played the beats on organs and got everyone to dance.
She made sure everyone including Ah Ma comes up and join in to dance.
We were all doing new dance moves and she surprised us with fresh ideas! Got us to follow her touch the books, swing your hands etc.
First session Evelyn was not home. So that night when Evelyn came back she invited her to dance party, said "you follow me upstairs ah"
Next day, same thing she made sure everyone join. Asked Jiu Jiu go down to call Ah Ma come up. Made us make a circle like Acts Kids. When we had to stop to rest, she said she want to dance somemore. I tried to switch to slower songs like swing beats... she dislike. She requested for the fast beat songs. Where did she get all her energy?
This time, we also have family portraits time. :)
And for the first time, we took her to Tanjong to see some mudskippers that Ah Yi recently discovered.
At night, started in Muar when we put on diaper for her, she insisted on putting on the panty again. So she became super girl. Joshua taught her to call herself super girl.
She my ring on her finger? :) This wearing my ring and keeping as treasure near her head thing is still interesting to her. :) Now, instead of taking 1 ring, she would take both my rings.
I love photographing them side by side on the white blanket. :) Need to do more! They both wearing same mothercare attire except Jasper's sleeves were cut off.... same size & similar design. It's clear Jasper at 8 months old is quite big, while Jasmine an almost 3yo is quite small size.
Lian's dog Roxy is dying. I see the need to quickly teach her the concept of death. 11th July Monday (after the Raya break) when I sent her to Lian, I realised Roxy didn't move much.. and looked really weak. Lian said they are waiting for her son to come back to take the dog to the vet that night. That night when I put Jasmine to sleep, I explain to her that Roxy is not well and Jesus will come and take Roxy with him. Jesus's house is where we don't know where but Jesus will bring Roxy there. And we will not be able to see Roxy anymore... until Jesus come to take us with him too. She looked at me with a sad look on her face... I feel bad that I had to teach her about separation. It's a hard truth. I kissed her on the forehead and got her to sleep. I encouraged her that she can pray for Roxy in the morning and ask Roxy to wait for Jesus to come. I really was hoping Roxy could survive one more day for Jasmine to say a proper goodbye but it didn't. It was put to sleep & buried on Monday night itself. Tuesday morning as we entered Lian's house, Jasmine asked "mummy where Roxy?" Oops, I have to say Jesus has taken Roxy home. :( I feel sad... but Jasmine never ask again where is Roxy. I could only hope that she understood the concept of death...or start to understand...
Durian season. Joshua took her along to buy durians. She enjoyed the experience so much that once she came home, she immediately imitated how the uncle open durian with a big knife. She asked me how to keep the card in place on a metal spoon like a knife. I used the maskin tape to tape it up for her and she used the daiso felt balls as durians. :D
Midnight, she woke me up to bring her to 尿尿. After that she went back to her room to lie down. I was next to her. After a while she said she wants to come to our room and made sure I follow her. -_-
She enjoyed calling us by name - Anne, Joan, Joshua. That's her cheeky self showing. :)
She's starting to tell us her dreams it seems. She wakes up from nap and said "got merry go round". :) And then on 14th July she was in the car, she got up and said "got rabbits". I wonder if all kids have are cute dreams.
She counts from 1 to 10 but she kept on missing 6. By end of the month, she will purposely say the numbers randomly without sequence.
She saw me sit on toilet bowl and helped me to close the door. :) Told me to call her when I'm done, like how I always say to her.
17th July, I was clearing out my dresser and was about to get rid of the pink accessories box. Suddenly I had the idea of giving it to her. She loves it! I also gave her 2 old bracelets that I was going to donate away. She enjoys putting the bracelets into and box and the box has 3 small drawers. She got some small items like tortoise, tissue pack and her "watch" to put in it. When she put on the shiny bracelet on her wrist & the pink bracelet on her ankle, she asked us to sing jingle bell song. We are clueless why must be jingle bell. When we sing she will move and dance along.
She is playing with the pink box here... :)
One weekday night, we went to Subang Parade for Joshua's hair cut and I need to do some shoes shopping.
While Joshua's at hair salon, I quickly took them to Parkson to browse at the shoes on sale. Jasper fell asleep with pacifier in the stroller while Jasmine enjoyed shoes shopping with me.
Started off I asked "Jasmine nice or not?" No.. I need a bigger size. Then she insisted on coming down from the stroller and started giving a lot of opinions. Not for me, but for herself.
She knows how to tell the salesgirl this one too big for me. This one not nice. etc.
Her bear bear also try on sandals. I had to make sure she stays close to me the whole time... until Joshua came.
Weekend mornings, if put Jasper next to her, she wakes up almost instantly. She loves to kiss Jasper's hand. :)
Morning brush teeth is still very rare. We need to force this into a practice... hopefully after her 3rd birthday we can be disciplined.
She insists on brushing her own teeth, there was quite some battles with her but now we changed to counting 1-10 (for her to do whatever she likes) and then we will take over and finish the task. She gets to hear us counting 1-10 which I think is a double win. I just have to keep reminding her not to swallow the toothpaste because kodomo is not safe to be consumed. We also brush her tongue and she quite like it too. Joshua will make her do the fresh breath thing after her teeth & tongue are brushed clean. I have to keep reminding her to ask Lian to brush teeth for her... but I think she only remember once.
I tried to get her to choose her own books to bring to Lian's house on weekly basis. She's not doing much books or learning at Lian's and it's something we do not like to see. We are waiting for Joshua to get a job nearby.. so we can send her maybe to Little Legend... or a kindergarten.
Joshua bought some video stuffs and there were a bunch of bubble wraps. He taught her how to play with it and she likes it.
When in toilet or upstairs, she likes to scream "Ahh!" to hear her own echo.
Homes. She's been looking forward to Homes, asking me when is homes. July month we only have 1 homes. So finally the day came and she was excited! She insisted on bringing her guitar and during praise & worship, she stood next to Joshua, helped him to lead worship. She sang along too when she knows the words like "hallelujah" and even attempted to pray in tongues. Our hommies told us these because we didn't look at her during praise & worship. :) And while she stand in front, she repeated many many times "I am pitcher (teacher), daddy is the singer" She is so cute!! So she's been planning to do this at Homes!
We took her for a train ride finally! We took the Subang Jaya LRT to Taipan station.
It was raining when we arrived at Taipan station so we didn't walk out. In fact, she cried when she heard thunder. And she needed to pee, there was not nearby toilet so we went to a corner, for her to pee into diaper. Then we took the train back home. She stare out the window a lot and Joshua said she's downloading everything. She must've enjoyed herself so much she told Aunty Barb the next morning when we pick her up for church.
Then went to Courtyard, thinking of joining the Lego event but too matured for her age. Ended up buying floor mats & pillows for our house & for Muar.
We also took her to Kota Kemuning feed tortoise that weekend. We have not been taking her to feed tortoise for a while, suddenly one day Joshua was going to eat bread, she said cannot, because is for tortoise, tortoise is hungry.
So we decided to really take her to the park with a loaf of expired bread.
We also took the scooter along because we want her to learn it and enjoy riding on it. So my rule was if u want to go to the playground, you must ride in your scooter.
Joshua helped to steer it and she really kept on riding... and I can see that she's getting tired but still didn't stop.
Then I told Joshua, I think it's enough... she can just walk. We are already quite near the playground anyway. So she had lots of fun at the playground before we head for dinner with the Aws.
Sunday night, we attended the wake service of a church friend. She drank the packet water and needed to go 尿尿 3 times. Joshua was frustrated and asked why do u need to go so many times? She replied "because, I drink a lot".
Once in the car, I offered her some oats, she said no, I'm full while rubbing her stomach. She has learnt to show us her bloated stomach as a proof that she's indeed full. So when she's trying to escape from finishing her meal, she purposely make the stomach more bloated by leaning more front. Another time we were in the car and passed by playground, she commanded "daddy stop!" because she wants to see playground.
This month Lian took off for medical check up. So I am home alone with them. That's one of the best days I've performed so far. When I was to bath Jasper, I left him on Anne's bed and told Jasmine to help me watch him, make sure he don't fall off bed. I went to our room to take his clothes and hear Jasmine called "Mummy!" I ran over and found Jasper had fallen off the bed & wastrapped between bed & wall. So Jasmine saw Jasper fell and got trapped. :)
When I finally put Jasper down for his nap. I did Noah's story with Jasmine!
I decided to give more character to Noah thus the hair band and hat. :D
Asked her to pose for a picture. I am truly proud of my kid here. :)
She likes to go into Jasper's cot. Many times she tell me "mummy I'm a baby, gugugaga"
See her kissing Jasper's hand?
And now she can wrestle with him, obviously Jasper doesn't like and will cry.
This month, as she settles for bed, she doesn't want me to leave the room. Her usual words "mummy come here" she even scream this when she wakes up crying during midnight. 27th July, midnight she cry as usual, I went over lied down next to her, she asked to play with my ring. I always let her play just so she can quiet down to sleep. She usually play wearing on her fingers, and then keep in next to her pillow, like a treasure. She loves to ask us to "tell stories", "tell somemore stories". I created a new story that's related to Uncle Charles, about him seeing the Golden Gate Bridge on TV and said "I want to go there" etc. When I tell her stories at night, she made sure I say "the end" before she sleeps. If I forget or end it without saying those 2 magic words, she will say "mummy say the end", no matter how sleepy she was.
We are already planning her 3rd birthday celebration. I found some inflatable pools on mudah and saved the pictures on my phone. She saw the pool when playing with my phone and said "I want to go there". :)
I then researched more and found one with animals, even more attractive. She saw again and said she wants to go there. I scrolled back the old one and asked how about this? She said, this one your one. That one my one.
Durian at USJ. Play with Lisa, Zach & Asher. She eats durians together with us first then play. They were washing hands.
She & Lisa hugs each other and both were wearing peppa pig clothes. Lisa point to the peppa pig on her blouse.
Playtime with Jasper. She is still possesive over her toys. Jasper can only touch selected toys, otherwise she will snatch them back.
She likes to eat noodles and doesn't mind feeding herself. If she sees us eating noodles, she will ask for it and rejects her rice.
She likes to help feeding Jasper. The easiest is to help feed babybites. Dry and not messy.
Other times, she request to eat Jasper's biscuits. -_-
I threw her peppa pig pillow into the washing machine and because it was too full, I found it in this condition - torn. I feel very bad about this. :( This also motivated me to read through our washing machine manuals and decided to use delicate cycle for kids clothes, wool cycle for our hand wash clothes & lastly fuzzy cycle for our house clothes.
Anyway I left this torn pillow on dining room chair for days & weeks but it didn't quite attract Jasmine to it. She likes the peppa pig cartoon but not drawn to the pillow.
Cheeky Jasmine got hurt this month. It was nap time, refused to sleep and wants to play. She pretended to sleep while walking. Close her eyes and climb up the upper landing steps, slipped and hit her chin on the floor. Accidentally bit her own mouth and cried! There was a little bleeding in her mouth and we gave her water & milk... she slept eventually.
We taught her that she is turning 3 years old and taught her how to show "3" with her fingers. Then I asked her after a while, how old are you? She remembered and said three years old with the finger sign. :)
Anne was peeling orange, and she smelled it & knew it was orange. She said she can smell orange. She saw that Joshua doesn't want to eat because it's sour so she found fun forcing him to eat.
Ah Yi suddenly wants to bake cheese cake on a Saturday and so she got to be involved. More like observing and wants to "help".
She keeps poking her fingers through the cake to taste it.
Another weekend, she too watch Ah Yi bake cookies. I was in the kitchen to steam & grind Jasper's food to freeze. That's why Jasper sits in the kitchen too.
Super wedgie, picture snapped by Ah Yi. Just few days after this, she started to know how to complain to me that she has wedgie. She will say "pain" and keep pulling.
More poses for Ah Yi's camera. :)
Here's a fun series of her changing clothes after church.
We took her to Daiso in Sunway Pyramid before eating dinner at Nando's. In Daiso, she was holding on to a barbie and said she wants to buy. Anne tried to take it back but she insisted. I was thinking how to not buy it and tell her no. Then I saw a nice kitchen playset, where the fruits were halves connected with velcro, so she can play cutting the fruits on chopping board. After I show her the kitchen play set, she give back the barbie voluntarily! :) Praise the Lord!
Weekend fun, introduced to her folding paper boat. We followed instructions online to fold and pass to her.
I tried to make a river using the aluminium foil but wasn't very successful. She prefers the red pail.
I had to fold quickly because she almost instantly sink the boats. -_-
That's how - splashing water over it.
She takes the ikea felt balls and put on it, like passengers on the boat.
Wednesday night, she followed Joshua to Vision alignment while Jasper & I went shopping at Mr DIY. She is exposed to musical instruments especially carjon here.
We were on our way home from Lian one evening and I saw rainbow! It was a very faded one because it was getting dark. I told her that there is a rainbow but she couldn't see. I wish we get another chance to show her the real rainbow instead of the ones in her story books.
Jasper often crawls about putting her toys into his mouth. She will be mad and make the crying noise.. I asked her why, she said "saliva". So I had to wipe it dry with a cloth and give it back to her.
One day I was wiping her pok pok in the toilet and she said "mummy you touch my kukubird" I said no.. jasmine doesn't have kukubird. Only boys and men has kukubird. Jasmine is a girl. Each time after she 尿尿 she will wash her hands. And almost everytime she wants to use soap. I will press for her and put it back. If I put the Dettol brand side facing the wall, she will say "no...." and turn it back out.
She could remove and put on the stride rite sandals all by herself and very proud of this achievement. Randomly in the car she will ask for permission to remove and then put it back on.
She continues to mother her soft toys. She said her bear bear manja. And she put on bib for the little chic book and taking the chic around our masterbedroom and non stop saying "mummy is here mummy is here mummy is here".
She told me that she missed Ah Ma and wants to go back to Muar. I asked why, she said because Ah Ma massage my leg.
There you go, my girl who's going to be 3 years old in one more months time. I am trying my best everyday to be close to my girl... and realised as she grows (even at 3 years old), she can reject me for some reasons. For certain activities she prefers to do with daddy... will there be a day we will hold hands like best friend and do something fun together? :) I hope I can be that kind of mother to you, little Jasmine. :) Mummy loves you. :)
We had multiple big family dinners.
She played with Janice again. So it seems she prefers Janice over Kathy. Poor Kathy, switches her efforts on Jasper.
3rd July, we let her decide whether to go to Acts Kids or follow Ah Ma & Jiu Jiu shopping. She decided to follow Ah Ma & Jiu Jiu. We asked and confirmed multiple times. She is firm with her decision. ;)

One thing we discovered, whenever Ah Yi is eating something, she always wants to eat it too. Whether it's before or after her meal, or close to bedtime, spicy or non spicy, she will definitely eat.
At home, when she was playing with the singing bus, there were many buttons and she pretended that it's her computer. She said "mummy pig come and help me with the computer". She plays with the buttons like keyboard. :)

She is able to wear her own seat belt when we put her in the car seat, except she need our help to clip it in.
Other than that, she's quite independent in removing & putting on her own pants. I discovered that on 13th July. I gave her a big congratulations hug when she managed to put on her pants. :D Only we keep & still keep helping her with it, for 2 reasons. (1) she wears her pants sitting down so we have to wear panty for her, and it's just very convenient to put on the pants for her right after that. (2) she need help climbing up the toilet bowl, so when we follow her to the toilet, we can easily help her remove pants and put her on the bowl.
We went back to Muar, during the Raya long weekend.
Arrived in time for breakfast.
At the breakfast place, she requested for this ride. We had to changed coins with the stall behind in order to buy this ride.

There were a group of older kids watching videos on iphone, Jasmine tried to join but was rejected. We told her is fine and she was ok. Cool. So she ran back into the living room looking for this girl few times, they are quite the same age, Jasmine is few months older.
We took Jasmine to their backyard where they rear chickens! And saw some fruit trees like limau, coconut, papaya & banana. We taught her to imitate how chickens walk. :D
This time, we took back her small ball & scooter so she could play basketball and ride scooter in the garden / front yard.We took Jasmine to their backyard where they rear chickens! And saw some fruit trees like limau, coconut, papaya & banana. We taught her to imitate how chickens walk. :D
Plan to send her to learn futsal in 2017, they start taking in when kids are turning 4. :)

Bath time in Muar is always with an anti slip mat and a stool. :) She is well familiar with this system.
This was just before we push off after breakfast. :)
Then Jiu Jiu gave some special treatment, piggy back.
In the car, going back to 71. After a long break.. need to go back to reality.
She my ring on her finger? :) This wearing my ring and keeping as treasure near her head thing is still interesting to her. :) Now, instead of taking 1 ring, she would take both my rings.
She did the supergirl request even when we're back in 71.
And he gladly enjoy Jasmine's shoes show. She eventually carry her bear and wear around the place in that 2 mismatch oversized shoes. :D
Weekend mornings, if put Jasper next to her, she wakes up almost instantly. She loves to kiss Jasper's hand. :)
Anyway we are definitely planning to invite not just friends from church to her party, we want to invite her friends from Lian's - that is Yuvraaj and Abigail whom she missed dearly! So we make invitation cards together using scrap paper. During which there were some parts I want to hold her hand to write, she wasn't focused at all and kept touching the toys around. I got mad when I told her not to touch and she kept touching. She cried. After it's all done she went upstairs to look for Joshua. When Joshua asked her why is she crying, she said "mummy say must write".
Once it's set, she helps to cut too. Ok, more like want to poke and eat again.
Another weekend, she too watch Ah Yi bake cookies. I was in the kitchen to steam & grind Jasper's food to freeze. That's why Jasper sits in the kitchen too.
More poses for Ah Yi's camera. :)
Here's a fun series of her changing clothes after church.
I tried to make a river using the aluminium foil but wasn't very successful. She prefers the red pail.
I had to fold quickly because she almost instantly sink the boats. -_-
That's how - splashing water over it.
She takes the ikea felt balls and put on it, like passengers on the boat.
Weekend fun - scooter & bicycle. She knows how to help herself with the scooter in drum room, wears her slipper and come out. Assigns scooter to us and she rides the bike.
Now this beautiful strawberry romper is officially too short. This is the last time wearing. It's purchased in San Francisco before she was born....
