Mini Milestones : Jasper's 42nd month (Jasmine 69th)

May 2019
Labour Day we went cycling at the Shah Alam park.
My little japanese looking girl, with her red riding hood hat. She picked this over the other caps.
And Jasper likes to make this kind of face lately.
This is the cycling track, it's a mini traffic system.
Jasper fell down few times, if not wrong the worse fall was on the way back to the car later that day, it left a minor scratch on his knee. But he was a brave boy, he didn't make a scene, so proud of him.
Tek Yan was there - of course Zach too. Tek Yan said Jasmine should be upgraded to a proper 2 wheels bike. That's definitely our plan, just have to find one day that we can focus on getting her on the 2 wheels!
It started to get very hot after 30 minutes into cycling.
Here, the both of them wore camera t-shirts. :)
Jasper did not like the label of his t-shirt, I told him to please leave it on. But he reached for the scissors in my bag and cut it off himself while I was talking to Julia. He passed the label to me and went back on his bike!
Done cycling, we are now heading to the playground. Jasper was too hot and requested to remove his t-shirt.
Special playground, a bit like ninja warrior kind of challenge. My 3yo is doing great!!
Jasmine is awesome too! They both did the challenge twice.
Look at that confident girl.
We let the younger ones play bubbles and I bought 1 new bubble gun, the exact same one bought at Muar Tanjung, just RM1 more expensive.

After that we had lunch at the new mall nearby and then head home to rest. On the way to car park, we saw a clown standing on sticks, he is very very "tall".
Zzz....

At night we went to Subang Parade MPH, to let them find books to read. Really hope we can spend longer in a bookshop without rushing to another place, but it's really hard to find time! I wonder how other people do it.

This Jasper sweats almost every night even with the table fan blowing at his direction. That's why every night when he sleeps, he rolls up his t-shirt even with the air con on. Before I sleep I will check and will be wiping sweat off his head.

I am trying hard to incorporate drum lessons into our busy weekend schedules, I mean of course Joshua being the teacher. But even once a month is a challenge! I think we need to make it on weekday nights....

Normal day on the way back home from LL.
He is trying to reach the air con to make the adjustments.
We seem to have more consistency in giving them movie nights, simply because it is easy where we don't have to do anything.
Except Jasmine who is very into Uno will want to play it even while movie is playing.
Jasper doesn't want to tuck in LL T-shirt anymore. If we tuck in, he will pull it out.
This is a rare morning, where we drop Jasper off in LL because of his PE class. Then we take the same lift to go up to Level 4.

He always likes to play in the kitchen esp when we are busy prepping food. I regret not making the kitchen more purpose built!

That day, Jasmine chose to stay home with Ah Yi to bake while Jasper chose playground.
It was our personal time, where he cycle to anywhere he wants and I followed behind. While Joshua plays basketball.
Randomly he stops to pick some sticks and little stones, passed to me and continue. I thought to myself maybe I should buy him a mini basket for the bike?

This is Jasmine's piece of art. Joshua asked for ice cream and she served this.

We were at the mall where Kingdom City was, can't remember the name. There was a quiet H&M (staff told us they are closing down soon), I couldn't find anything I like there but the kids had fun playing hide and seek. Jasmine's own idea to hide here!!
At Jaya Grocer, Ah Yi offered to buy them ice creams and that's how they say thank you, by giving big hugs!

Normal weekday nights playing, I like to see them communicate and play pretend games in peace. :)

Teacher Pei Pei told us that Jasper needs to be a bit more guided on the Chinese reading. They are reading Pai Qiu. And he reads Ming Ming play ball. We got Jasmine to help teach him to read, Jasmine is such a good jeje.

This is where PE class is held on Tuesday & Thursday.

A special saturday where we need to send the motorbike for service. The kids took turn to ride the bike / follow me in the Forte. We had lunch near the motorbike shop.
On the way back, Jasmine and daddy went to grab Coke!

This is when Jasper was observing the motorbike shop. I told Joshua to teach him what servicing is, I am not sure if he did!

We were going for dinner at Pizza Lab in ss2, while waiting for a table, we checked out a pet shop next door. And was surprise to find about 3-4 puppies housed under these racks upstairs.
Downstairs there are a lot of fishes, tortoises and prawns.
And worms!! Look at Jasmine's face expression, she didn't know the box right in front of her was filled with worms.
Pizza Lab. We got free 2 pearl milk tea because our order came late!
We only ordered 1 pizza to share among us. It was not quite enough but because of the price, we decided to not eat so much. Two guys sharing table with us had one pizza each to themselves. They left earlier and we saw there was half pizza nicely untouched...... andddd we took it and eat it!!!!!! Jasmine and Jasper didn't quite understand what was happening. Haha.

Bus taking day.
Joshua's idea to wait at the bus stop in front of our house, was not the right move. We waited quite long without any bus. :(
Then we finally went to the one at the back, near station SS15 and voila, the free bus came!

We went until USJ and then was asked to hop to another bus, to return home.

Paw Patrol time, I made them dance to the theme song. :)

Some days, we arrived early and VA door is not open yet. So we will wait... and have time to snap a photo. How I wish there were more morning light so make my photos nicer.

He still likes mummy's hand. :)
Guess where we heading to? Carpe Diem!!!
Arrived!!! This is the kitchen where we spend most time in, but it is not air-conditioned. -_-
Nice ok, wish it's cleaner kitchen.

First activity after lunch was swimming! There is a little concrete slide and the kids love it.
Jasper only wants to come down with an adult. I hardly enter the water, but this time I did.

Ah Ma sits at the bench and help take some videos. Her videos are very veryy lonnng.... longer than a documentary, hahahahahah.

Outside of the swimming pool (which is also our breakfast place), there is a trampoline. Butttttt that day after they jump a little while, it started to rain.
That night we celebrated Jolene's 2nd birthday.

After dinner (we cooked with the Philips all in one cooker!) we played card games.
This is the sleeping arrangement, look at Jasper, still holding to my elbow. -_-

Next day morning after breakfast, trampoline!!
Then we went to look for fishes at the pond, there were a lot! We brought stale bread to feed and it vanish almost immediately.
I took Jasmine back to our room while Joshua lingers on, spoke to the staff worker, got his hands on bait & fishing rod, came back with fishes!!!

Jasper was there to help! More like Joshua was fishing while Jasper was feeding fishes with a big back of stale bread (also from the staff worker). Joshua said Jasper find all sort of ways to throw the bread into the pond.
We put the fishes at the back of our chalet, those are going into our BBQ dinner. We have a private BBQ pit there.
We are preparing lunch and also doing some preps for BBQ dinner at the same time.
While the kids play bubbles!
Joshua gut the fish. This is the 3rd fish he brought back.
Before BBQ I took them out to look at animals, but moments after this picture was taken, it rained again. We stayed in the car to observe the animals escape from the rain.
Back to the chalet, Jasmine does some art using Jolene's stuffs.
And she tried our maggi cup, of course she loves it.

After bathing Jasper we went out to look at animals again.
It was our one on one time again. :)
He likes to do this principal pose a lot lately, and I start to realise maybe I do this too??
Jolene came to join too. There are rabbits.

BBQ begins!!! The staff worker helped us scrub the metal frame, we asked for a new one but they don't have.
I expected to teach Jasmine to enjoy cooking some BBQ food, so that she can share in the next show and tell, but she was not interested at all.
This boy has shown much more interest.
The best food is not shown here, there's a very yummy pork belly! :D
Morning, last morning. Finally going home. I can't wait to go back to our familiar home.
After breakfast, they went fishing again. This time Anne joined and she caught a fish too!!

Jasper still afraid when the fish moves.
Nice yummy lunch at the Tokyo restaurant (serves chinese food not japanese) in the Rawang town.
We bid goodbye as we parted ways here. One back to Muar, one back to Subang Jaya.
We are back home! Home sweet home!! Carpe Diem is less than an hour away.

We went to Miniature, it was closing down. Feel so bad that we never once supported them!
Soon the kids started to cry from the frustration of not able to see what we saw. There was a treasure hunt list for every section. It's stressful for us, what more for the kids. We just have to teach them don't give up la... ai yo...
Lunch at F4. Thought it will be cheap lunch but came out from expensive! I think it was about RM80 per family?
This is the gang. I was the one who planned this outing, hehe.

Used the bread crumbs from one of Jasmine's show and tell, to make breaded chicken. It was delicious.
Ready for frying.

Took the kids to see Dr Koe and look at the mad queue!!! Both of the kids had some cold, so I guess this is worth it? First time ever we head home after writing name and returned in the afternoon.
Jasmine is 15kg and 104.5cm tall
Jasper is 14kg and 97cm tall
He has managed to unlock the iron grill by twisting our keys (if it is hanging there).

We popped by Exotic Pet Studio in Summit Level 2. There are reptiles.
Jasmine was so sure there were two snakes in the aquarium, but it was really just the snake and its skin! We had to ask the staff to show the kids the snake skin. They took turns to touch.
Jasmine didn't take nap that Sunday and it was Aeon Big member day. She finally fell asleep while we were paying money at the cashier.
One day we came here to COD the pink bag wheels after swim class, we noticed there are lights and a ferris wheel. So we promised them that we will return again, here we are.
It was nothing much although it looked so interesting from the outside.
We just take some photos. Bought coupons for the kids to take a merry go round ride, bought some soft drinks with the balance and that's it.
The merry go round seemed interesting because it had 2 levels, we wanted to go upstairs but the lady said upstairs is closed, due to low manpower. :(  Another worse point, it doesn't even have music playing? :(
They couldn't finish the soft drinks although they seemed so thirsty.

For her show and tell, she decided to share about "not to give up". So we used the Minnature story, don't give up and she spotted Ant-Man.
At the SS17 playground, Jasmine challenged herself with the monkey bar and managed to complete it although she had wanted to give up many times. I kept assuring her to move forward, so glad she managed to do it. I wish someone have taken a videooo!
In Little Legends making a pig.
And making a donkey.
PE class at Level 4.
Visited Klinik Kecheeriaan.
Now we started to incorporate badminton introduction in between swim lessons.
Jasmine's class is 7.30pm to 8.15pm.
Jasper's class is 8.30pm-9.00pm.
Both of them got to play some badminton while waiting.
Jasper is not really getting it, or maybe he's too young to follow instructions. But it is still good exposure. Although Joshua said he doesn't show improvements after some weeks, I believe one day he will surprise us. :)

So engrossed in playing that he didn't bother wearing undie or pants.

In the final 2 days of May, she managed to buckle herself up even in the red car seat. It's so easy for us now if she takes the red and Jasper takes the black, that means none of them needs our help to buckle up, woo hoo!
