Alor Setar 5D4N during CNY
We drove back.
Jared's first time back in Alor Setar
Met up with Wang Xian, his wife and his son at Starbucks. Jared slept for a while in the ergo and then he started to crawl around the table.
We stayed at airbnb and only come to the house during the day.
At night we took t he kids to have some fun at the park. Jared stayed in the ergo the whole time.
Rode the bicycles.

Often see Jared crawl around until hands, legs and his bib become grey. Sigh.
Back from Alor Setar. We spend time at Casa Tropicana!
Spent time with Ah Ma.
Friday, I came over together with Jared. He slept in ergo while I work on the Forecast for the banks. I actually took time off but still have to do some work. Sigh.

Jared doesn't know the fun of sitting in the swing yet. He seemed stress about it.
Took Jasmine down to swim , making sure she doesn''t forget what she has learnt.
Boys play at the playground. Jared needs his shoes. Next time need to bring..
We lazy to use bath tub already since Jared can stand firmly. And he poops so many times a day, Joshua often just rinse him here.
Chinese New Year fireworks party at Aunty Soo Lee's house.
Jared is very popular and everyone seems to know him, we are all surprise. Now we think he's the key to bringing community to us all.
Everyone come in will greet him. Even people that seems like strangers to us. Wow, just wow.
We went over to aunty's house a bit late, we had our dinner first, not knowing actually Aunty Soo Lee servers dinner to everyone. She cooked tomato fried mee hoon which is a favourite of the kids but already finish. She told us next time she will cook for us.

Still come to the drum room to play with these water shooters.
Koko Jeje lovingly try to help him not to get his head knocked by the bed frame.
Shoes passed from Wei Chee a few already too tiny for him, I think Jared's big size. Big feet and big palm. So this pair is also quite tight already. We just let him wear few more times before donate.
Going for a photobook at Edmund's studio, for free ! Lunch first at Signature's cafe.
At the studio. I trying to arrange my hair. Wore wrong dress, that was too tight around my waist. Regret not trying it out properly at home before coming.
Taking things out from drawers. Joshua went shoppee to buy sticker locks after a while, cannot seem to keep up with his pace. We kept on having to put back and next turn, you see another pile.
Play pen there definitely is a white elephant. Boy doesn't like to be in playpen or babycot, all no no.
Thankfully he still take his naps in the ergo. Although my waist is suffering, but this seems like the only way to put him down to zzzz.
Weekend like this, while we watch tv.
Doesn't sleep in the cot but on our bed. Anytime cry got nen nen to soothe. Rejects pacifier... sigh otherwise would've been easier for me.
In church main hall, he starting to get use to it. Will try to take a short morning nap.

Here are some developments that is after his 1st birthday :) :)

He climbed up sofa and bed all by himself! Those big feet working hard.
He also itchy hands, tears or kicks the foam edges downstairs out. Destroyed parts of it already. I put back in some with the spare that we have, but even those also he tore out. We just leave it as it is. If it is not dangerous, just leave it....
One day he got stuck in the shoe cabinet and cried! Joshua couldn't find him but could hear his faint cries. Then he found him in the shoe cabinet, so funny!! We wonder how he close the door behind him? Maybe he squeeze in through the narrow opening, then the door closes on its own (soft close).

He officially start throwing things from upstairs to downstairs. Toys, diapers, towels.. all.
He sometimes calls daddy, jeje, koko, bird bird, but not calling mama as frequent.
Randomly he says mum mum when want to eat
Instantly cries when we put him in playpen and cot. Looks like baby cot training doesn't help and the baby cot is really going to be severely under-used compared to Jasmine & Jasper's cot. SIGH! I like this baby cot, it's white!!! but Jared dislike it, this is really frustrating.
1.5 year old (11th Aug)
He walks up the stairs without holding to anything!
He plays chasing with Jasper, when he runs, he knocked into the door frame but never cry.
He loves the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and often sings it himself
He loves spending time outside. When drop off at Aunty Soo Lee house, he always wants to wear crocs and go outside walk and touch anything. He chuckles when I bring the crocs to him. He touched the avocado and found that it is sharp/thorny, so he avoids it now.
Whenever uncle is outside, he sees and will cry because he wants to go out too. So now evening uncle will take him out, either he walk himself or uncle carry him. And sometimes around 6pm he starts to look out the window, to look for Joshua to pick him up. Sometimes I pick him up. Either way he will be cheering at the window and run to the door.
When drink nen nen, he covers his face and plays peekaboo with me. He also sometimes lift up his hand towards me and show me no more sign. Or the more often one, he lift up his hand and swings it at my face, pushing my face away from staring at him. Planning to wean off but everytime he sees me after work, he immediately wants to drink nen nen. Until today he doesn't want to say the word "nen nen". He just cry and puts his face down to my chest. He basically positions himself in drink nen nen position everytime I lift him up. Or he kept crying at my leg when I sit down trying to eat dinner.
