Brisbane on 11 Jan 2011

Day before yesterday, I read from news about how the flood in Queensland had affected the supply of coal worldwide, thereby affecting profitability of our TNB. Shin Yee came straight into my mind, I immediately contacted her over gtalk. She said that her area Ipswich was not affected (phew!!) and indeed the rain has been really persistent, 3 times in a day.

Yesterday, I heard a bad news and was complaining to Shin Yee over gtalk. She replied me instantly and said "Sorry I can't talk to you now. The flood is coming to us, I'm packing now. Please pray for us."

o.O and I thought my problem was huge? So sorry God.

I prayed for them, all of them in Brisbane. And have been checking Facebook on the status of the flood. There were quite some photos shared by them.. and it looks quite bad.

Some of these places carry sweet memories of mine.. and it's heart aching to see how the flood has affected the beauty and the life of the city.

Today's The Star has given quite some information too. There's more than 90 people missing still. The water level even reached 3rd storey of some houses, cars being taken away by the flood, no food supply, no public transport and electricity supply was also stopped etc. >.< God, please protect them !

Father, you're KING OVER THE FLOOD, I will be still know you are GOD...

Be still, Brisbane, be still, God is still in control. Amen. :)
