This is the sleeping arrangement in Muar. We all love it and had enjoyed the 5 star hotel experience, as always!
We came back to attend Zyon's birthday party on 1st of January!
Look at Jasper and Ezra.
And Jasper was of course sleepy on the way home. There was a pool and then lots of playing and jumping into the house.
Spent time at the KK playground before meeting with Shin Yee and family.
New Year's Day!
Jasper sings at Shin Yee's house, so sporting! He sings You Raise Me Up the song he sang so many times at LL concert practices.
They also met Happy the dog.
Jasper's first swim class! He was supposed to pick up balls or but would push it further away. He does better when there's another student with him.
Jasmine's hair is also long and I plan to cut it short for VA because once it touches or exceed collar, she will be required to tie up. I want to avoid tying her hair everyday, don't think it is good.
Motorcycle rides with daddy where they need to learn to take turns.
Now VA only starts on 14th Jan and I took leave until 6th Jan, so Jasper will miss LL for one week to stay home with us. I let them draw! :) While I cook their lunches.
They like to draw on their palm and feet and stamp on the paper, it is so messy.
Jasper likes dark brown or red or orange colour. Like a mud colour all the time.
Playground day! Weather was very good, not sunny and even at 7pm it was still bright.
We were all by ourselves until 2 girls came in.. I told Jasmine to self introduce, she did! Jasper followed behind. So the 2 girls names were Abigail and Caroline, both same year as Jasmine and Jasper respectively. They are from house no. 46.
The 2 girls showed them how to climb on top of the slide!
Jasper pushed Jasmine a little here and she got suddenly shocked and angry and broke into tears.
After we got back from the playground, they had dinner and cleaned up their toys without me instructing. So rare!
This is at night, where I took out expired m&m chocolates to show them just how much colour the chocolates has, it is harmful to their body.
Eating here because kakak is cleaning the house and we don't want to have so much mess on the floor to clean up.

On 7th Jan, Jasper is back to LL and Jasmine has the whole house to herself. This is her eating lunch while watching cartoon. Such a good life!
Another day, I took her to a special roti canai breakfast and then to Ikea after dropping off Jasper. I thought it will be fun to send her to the Ikea playroom but it was closed.
So she ate this ice cream while watching cartoon, again.
Here comes hair cut day!
I am really going to miss her long hair... it is not so curly like before, but still am going to miss it.
Cut short! Not it is the short hair Jasmine.
This is the first time I have her hair cut this short! I just simply cut cut cut... not necessary have a plan.. Glad it turns out right.
Look at the amount of hair we cut.
Jasper at swim class again, he snacks first while waiting for teacher to come. His class starts at 8pm, Jasmine's is at 7.30pm, so there's a half hour wait. We realised we can't push him too hard, when we do, he told his teacher that he wants to go home. -_-
Jeje sends Jasper to school and helps to carry the Elmo bag on her back. :)
So I asked randomly to Jasper, does your friend play with your hair taiL? he said yes but didn't explain further. I dont think it is true, haha.
We heard from Pastor Sandy that Zyon talks about Jasper a lot when he is home from LL.
When we sent him in on 2nd week, Teacher Celina asked him why he didn't come in the first week, he just answered repeatedly "my mumm ask me to come to school today". Haha.
Decided to open up the lego from her 2nd birthday, finally I think she is ready to play some lego, instead of duplos.
On 10th Jan, we watched Mary Poppins with free tickets!
Jasper followed through the movie and still remember to eat pop corns. But Jasmine, she forgot to eat pop corns because she was so focused on the movie, haha. She was angry when she realised that pop corns and Coke were all finished by the end of the movie.
They were singing the Mary Poppin songs in the house.

Sunday evening workouts, kids and daddy. They love it! Although Joshua will prefer to do it on his own.

I built a car wash lego for Jasper and he loves it! Kept asking me to build again and again.
14th Jan, school day for Jasmine!! :D

This is afternoon 5.30pm after cooking class.
Because it's her first day, so daddy came to pick her up from school too. :)
She is so blur, I packed breakfast in container for her and then before she enter DVCC I passed her a box of milk. She told teacher she only have the milk, she didn't eat her breakfast and was hungry before lunch time. -_-
Then we pick Jasper up.
She is very sleepy. We already expected this. :)
Jasper reads the Level 1 Avengers storybook almost every night and now he can memorise more than half the book. We don't even have to red to him, he will narrate. :) And it is so cute to hear him narrate.
As for Jasmine, she is starting to read silently in her heart. ;)
His bedtime prayer : "Pray for daddy mummy that daddy mummy will do good things and mummy will go on a boat and eat on a boat and daddy also."
Jasmine's prayer "For muar people to be happy in Muar and Jolene will not go to school Ah Ma will know Jesus everyday."
VA Day 2
I picked her up with the stroller and then fed them snacks.
Again, the girl needs a nap before dinner.
So Jasmine kept boasting about the breakfast date with me (roti canai and milo) that Jasper became sad he couldn't join. So I took him for a special breakfast date too! Too bad Old Town is not open, so we are at Family Mart. Jasper picked a chocolate mousse dessert and a box of chocolate milk. :)
He munches on his breakfast bread too.
Swim class again and I did a little braid for Jasper while he watches youtube. :)
He jumped into the water!! Very good boy!
Friday casual day at VA! :)
Jasper is learning how to pee like a boy from daddy. When I do it, I always put him on the toilet bowl like a girl because I can't stand his pee spraying everywhere. -_-
On 23 Jan, he peed a bit on the bed and woke up himself to tell me. I told him to go to the toilet, and he peed on his own into the toilet bowl without wetting the floor. He is very proud and told Joshua about it.
Saturday, he woke up so early and even followed Joshua out to buy breakfast happily. Even when Joshua went outside the gate to pass something to Jason Wong, he also followed.
He calls moo moo cow "cream milk".
We finally found a buyer for the double stroller for RM360. This is one last round on it before COD that night.
I am going to miss seeing them enjoy this "choo choo train" so much.
We popped a confetti (given by my Laureate colleague) as a farewell celebration. And then they have to pick up the fallen confetti. Joshua did put in one more time so they each have a chance to pop it. :)
Tried out burger at Subang Square shop, not so good, old and smelly. -_-
Lazy Saturday.
Jasper was very into this cow rubber, he held it to sleep and even when he comes over to our room, he takes it with him. Haha.
First time drop-off! So much easier. :) So Jasmine complained almost with tears in her eyes that her school bag is too heavy and it hurts her shoulder. So I let her try using this trolley bag it seems perfect!
But that night, Janet told me she hugged the bag to walk down the stairs, and it is too dangerous. So need a trolley bag that has the straps for the shoulder. Like a 2 in 1, okkkk.......... means need to buy new bag.
One night after swim class, Jasmine was eating nga koo in the living room. she was trying to ask Joshua something about the nga koo, she said "daddy.....' she paused and then said "wait! why got two questions?! Mind, stop thinking!!"

Bumped into a pasar tani, and Joshua bought some ikan bilis and dried prawns.
Weekend homework - writing, maths. Her first show & tell will bbe on 24 Jan where she needs to share 3 things about herself. We let her bring her swim cap to school and share 3 things that she likes pink, she likes to swim and she has a younger brother.
Sunday dinner with Neos. Before dinner we swim at their condo pool. Jasmine is so comfortable in the water! She does all sorts of stunts - sit in the pool, blow bubbles and swam with the board full lap.
Then watch cartoon while eating.
Drop off again.
One bag for dirty clothes, one bag for nap pillow & towels, and another bag for clean clothes/milk powder/water bottle.
See that facial expression, hahaha.
Daddy drops off too because he took off to settle some tricycletv company licence renewal matter.
After school that day, we went to Decathlon to get slippers for daddy. His broke when motorbiking one day.
Anyway they found trampoline!!

Ok so Jasmine also got a pair of new slippers la. Jasper too, a blue pair. :) Considered their something new for CNY!
Jasper has been unhappy to have soap entering his eyes during bath but this month he is getting so much better. Because I said that only clean water runs down his face and the soap water runs through the back of his head. He would repeat this for me to confirm everytime we are going to bath him. "Mummy is is the soap water will not go into my eyes? It will go behind my head?"

Very different when Jasper plays with a boy, he becomes so so boy. :) And he says he wants to go back again. True enough this was second time we went back but they fought at the pool for the water shooter. He didn't enter the pool for most of the time.
