Mini Milestones : Jasper's 55th month (Jasmine 82nd)

June 2020
CMCO...
School is still closed and our struggle is real. Everyday we have our work to do and we feel bad that we couldn't provide much of homework guidance for the kids.

Jasmine have some work assigned by Bahasa teacher but nothing from Chinese teacher yet. So I let her do some simple baths with whatever workbook we have.
She developed a bad habit of putting hand at her mouth!!!!
One thing great, Enid Blytons. She reads a ton!

Face Time with Ah Ma. :)
After dinner usually is homework time. Joshua didn't follow much of the Summer Academy google classroom. He's half given up because there are too many homework that's like memorise story and re-tell it. We dont have the time to guide him to memorise because he can't read yet.
I collected the 3M magazines and more of her book from school locker from a parent. Sad to be collecting everything because it shows that they wont be back in school anytime soon?

During my work, they will come to disturb, can't avoid.
And this is the longest I've seen. Hope to be able to maintain its length...

They set up things like this a lot.

This is weekend.

We have mosquitoes issues and Joshua decided to clear the pots and we sold all of the pots for RM30.
Joshua's first paid hair cut since the lock down. RM30 or RM40 I cannot remember.
Ah Yi plays her ukulele and they dance to the song. Sometimes they can be very shy, sometimes not shy at all.

Follow some dance tutorials on youtube. It is the Mihran K dance tutorial and it got Jasmine interested in the routine. I like to see her doing it repeatedly and wish some day she will just get it right. :)

Jasper didn't take his nap that day and while I was still working upstairs just before dinner, he fell asleep here...

Due to our guilt, we decided to hire a home tuition teacher. David Loo is here to help, he charges us RM100 per session, 1.5 hour. He is way over-priced that it was my mistake that I did not do any market research. Maximum regret. He didn't do much for Jasper's learning. He added homework to Jasmine instead of helping her finish her homework. That same week Jasmine's class teacher suddenly resume google classroom and did a lot of speedy catch up. Both chinese and maths.
She sometimes does her homework here.

I love that they both read quietly like this.
And Jasper will make it more interesting by staying in the box.

This is Jasper's Summer Academy homework. He has online zoom classes too and is right before David Loo tuition. Once he finishes his English zoom class upstairs, he immediately went downstairs to join David's tuition. New broom sweeps clean.

Because of Enid Blyton Jasmine asked for baked potatoes with sugar on top, but she didn't like it.
See that hand in the mouth again. -_-

They like to do this a lot. It's nice to see but super not practical to me. Imagine the things we have to pick up and put away. God really have to help me.

Hair cut.

Done. :)

Jasmine only wanted me to trim the fringe and said her hair is precious and would like to keep it long.

While playing upstairs, he knocked his head on the edge of the white table. Really painful but thankfully his skin didn't break otherwise we have to deal with bleeding and open wound.

Go back to Muar !!!!! We decided to go back since we are allowed to travel inter-state and schools have not yet resume operation.

While packing, both of them packed their bolsters into their roller bag. I asked why Jasmine said because the bolster in Muar is too short and very hard to sleep.
Jasmine asked whether when we go back, she will be sleeping and we will put her in the car while she sleeps. :) She remembers it is almost always like that. :)
That morning Jasper woke up at 7am and asked whether we are leaving already. He is looking forward!

I got to clear some stuffs in the Muar small bedroom upstairs and put all the photo albums into the bigger room that we sleep in. We gone through with them some old photos and they had a lot of fun.
This is my daddy. :)
Ah Yi ! They laughed so much.

This is morning. They both sleep here and I sleep at the corner... on a sofa.

During this trip when Jolene cries loudly, Jasmine said she's so annoyed.
I finally bought the bubble sticks with super heroes design when I saw it at Wetex. I remember I promised Jasper that I will buy when he asked for it during our Camerons trip.

Funny Jasper at the back.

Anne baked a lot and I ate a lot. So I put on a lot of weight too. I used to like the japanese cheesecake she bakes but her newest style is to apply marmalade jam on top, it makes it so sweet I don't like it anymore.

We can't dine out so there are several tapao or pick up or delivery eaten here.

Some outdoor play here.

We went to the donation centre to give away bags of unwanted items, so I suggested that we all walk there and then take the back way to go home, so that we can look for cows.

On the way, Jasper picked up this huge leaves. We then throw it into the drain and saw how it travel forward..

I think we counted about 9 cows? Some chickens, dogs, cats.... maybe 1 iguana but it went away so fast.

Back in Subang Jaya... my work corner is the worse corner in the house, very hot. My freckles increased after MCO. Sad.

One day we pass by Mcds and Jasper asked Mc Donalds stars with M right?
And Mc Donalds got nose because is Mac Do Nose.
Jasper started to talk and act cute in his tone. I suspect is after seeing the way Jolene talk while we were in Muar.

Aunty Pat came and bought a bra from me. She bought one.. and we bought some chap fan to all eat together. Jasper is being very photogenic in these photos. Jasmine was the one snapping the photo. :)

Zoom class on-going. Chinese class. Teacher speed things up so much that I felt very unhappy.
Jasmine would be quite tired after each zoom class.

Play dress up.

First time dining out at Summit Black and White.

Another time we dine at Courtyard Japanese food. Just felt that we want to have a good meal out.

She picked this outfit entirely on her own.
On 26 June, Jasmine dropped her 3rd tooth after the Japanese dinner where she accidentally chew on her loose tooth. So painful and quite some blood.

Try to keep his tail up but it didn't last long.

We take them to the park often and on 21 June Jasper peed at the tree in this playground.

They tried to set up a cafe at home. This is the door.

Tables to dine at.
Books to choose from.

Jasmine did a workbook question for Jasper. I am a person, hahaha.
Movie night.
Acts Kids online.
Set up pool for them again, but this time realise they didn't enjoy much because it's too shallow for them already. So we may have to upgrade the inflatable pool.

This girl on Fathers' Day gave RM10 to Joshua. Jasper wanted the money instead but after that he also took his own RM10 to give to Joshua too.

Funny boy.

One time he farted and he felt his buttock wet, he put in his finger and shocked when he saw his hands got his poop. It also dropped on the dining chair and he himself was very disgusted. Joshua helped to clean up.
