Mini Milestones : Jasper's 66th month (Jasmine's 93rd month)

Just feel like going out for a meal. So we sort of dressed up and went to Upstairs Cafe for dinner. Jasmine wore this cute Kebaya top and a stranger told her it's wonderful. :) See the scrunchie on her wrist? Another fashion statement. Hehe. 

The blue Elsa sandals definitely getting super tight. Not much chances to wear, still so new!

This is at the Upstairs Cafe. 

At decathlon!! Need protective gears and another pair of roller blades so the kids can both roller blade together, no need to wait for their turn. 

They are testing out the shoes. We straight away went for the mid level shoes as it says its wheels go faster. And also the colour was more appealing to the kids. Black and red, instead of hot pink or electric blue. 

Both do so well. We bought one pair. And protective gears proper for knee, elbow and wrist for both of them. All in black. 

Play with this too. How did we think wearing this was ok?? I supposed the daily cases was not so shocking then!! Now with delta variant in our midst, I dont think wearing this helmet will be OK. Sigh. 

Back at home. They like to do chalk drawing here. 

But I remember they will quarrel. 

Teacher Janice is going to study in uni soon, so almost her farewell I help to take photo of Jasmine with her favourite teacher. Look at Jasmine, I have no idea why she takes along the muffler to Acaredemy. And spot the white hair clip? Haha. 

White hair pin again! Lovely. 

Jasper playing drums including the helmet was also another place where he can play. 

Wearing this teddy scrunchie to sleep is also another routine of hers these days. 

Let them roller blade at the back here. 

Small space but sufficient to go a few rounds. 

They become so independent in this so fast. 

Sometimes I bring a bun and let them eat while they roller blade.

And we really look forward to this sport on weekends. 

We notice the blue roller blades is slightly crooked when the kids wear it. No matter how tight we wear them in. So we decided to get another pair for them. We were waiting for Isabel to give us hers as she said she will, but no news for a month plus, we decided to just buy la. 

Sweaty but satisfied with the workout. 

Look at Jasmine go at the monkey bar. She went all the way!

Jasper's school had to shut because of a student from 3yo class tested positive. So he's at home. I was working and he decided to take his nap here. 

Weather so hot he rather remove his t-shirt. 

Every night bible story. 

Behind us is Jasmine's study table, the foldable plastic table. She likes it much better than the small tiny square table. 

I think once Joshua took them to roller blade, he didn't wear helmet and fell forward. Little scratch on the forehead. 

Look at our new roller blades there!! Finally bought it. 

That day on our way back to car, there was a security guard there complaining hard to breathe. And some guys there ask Joshua whether can help call ambulance. And then another man offered to wait till ambulance arrive. We quickly head home. 

Another weekend, came with Anne. They wanted Ah Yi to see them roller blade. 

Cycling at the park near our house. Haven't done this for a while, they are glad to be cycling again. 

Ok, they asked for a play kitchen early this month. I said play kitchen are for small young children isn't it! No... they begged and begged. I finally decided ok, but they must be able to achieve some goals. 

For Jasmine, able to tell time and memorise chen fa piao from 2 to 10 without errors. 

For Jasper, read the whole cat in the hat book cover to cover. And read 2 pages on his own without help. 

We had to keep reminding them to work on the goals. And help them to get better. Jasmine told her friend Xin Yao she will be getting a kitchen that has the sink with water and egg spinner. Xin Yao said she has the same kitchen at home. Jasmine asked whether she had to memorise chen fa piao to get it? No. Haha. So she asked me why am I not like Xin Yao's mum. Hahaha.

This is where she's been attending her standard 2 class since May. Feels like a long time since she stepped into school. I bought her a set of Roald Dahl books, because she told me she watched Matilda at Acaredemy but Xin Yu said she read the book. So I decided she should probably read the story book before watching those movies. 

They are both really cool when they are at this roller blading thing.

After she read the Matilda book, we are here watching the movie Matilda together finally. 

She's very proud because she knows the story details. 

Have to set up table for Jasper's online class... because of another lockdown coming. We hate it, we really hate it. 

I just want him to have proper schooling. Face to face. Why did the virus steal this from us??

Timothy said his bestfriend is Jasper. We asked Jasper is Timothy his best friend? He said no. He said he didn't run with Timothy.

Told Joshua to let us take family photos at the back again. 

Because I am supposed to give a photo of myself with Jasper to Ting Ting laoshi for a parents day video they plan to edit. 

We say we've each been reading some sort of books, so lets take photo of us reading la. (I think i want to frame this picture up)

Date of writing : 22nd July, still waiting for gynae!!!! It's 10.30am I've been here for almost 2 hours. Waiting is super tiring!!
