April 2011 - It's all mum's !

This was me walking down the aisle as Julia's bridesmaid during her wedding on 9th April. :) I was asked to prepare blue heels because that's one of her theme colours. I told her, I have a blue heels which mum passed down to me, I hope that's the shade of blue you have in mind. True enough, turns out the blue ribbon matches the blue heels perfectly! So here, mum's shoes. My 2nd time wearing it. It's a size 5 while I'm a size 6. I'm glad I'm over the "shoe bite" phase. Hehe.


I've worn this a handful of times to work. Her grey blouse. The sleeve was supposed to be longer. I folded it so that it looked more fitting. The black heels also was hers! One of my most comfortable yet presentable work shoes.. sadly.. the shoe base is getting thinner and thinner.. it's going to break anytime now. :(


Her yellow skirt! She's never worn this skirt because she said the colour didn't look good on her. I hesitantly took it home, thinking the design is too flowery for my liking. -_- Anyway I've worn it to work quite often because it's very comfortable. I only wore it with black top.... any idea how else to wear this skirt? :D Oh, the black flats was hers. She bought it when she secretly went shopping at Malacca alone when our brother was out of town. She said she bought size 6 on purpose, so that we could share.. but it soon became too loose for her, so it's now mine. :) I like it. It's Carlo Rino. :D


Her black & white checkered skirt! This was one of the first few I grabbed !! I remember somewhere in year 2004, I admired her when she had this skirt on, pairing with fitting black long sleeve blouse. One day she said I can have it, woo hoo! I had her tailor alter it to my size and shorter... bad news was it shrunk after I wash it !!! I had to go back to the tailor to rectify it, so now this skirt is very short.. and very fitting. If I put on weight on my waist further, I won't be able to wear it. I wore it to Good Friday service. :) Whenever I wear it, my friends always told me they like it! :D


My favourite this time======> Ta Da !!

She brought this to Subang during her last visit on 16 Apr. :) She said the design is too young plus it's sleeveless she doesn't like it anymore. She only wore it once to my cousin's wedding in Singapore, here. It's very loose at the waist, so I tied the blue ribbon Julia gave me. I wore it to Easter Sunday service. I thank God I took the courage to wear it. It's such a good dress, and will be a waste if it just sit in the wardrobe. :) Few girls in church told me they like the dress, one asked me where I purchased it, one could tell it's tailor made because it's unusual. :) They made my day!!
