Shopping in US............... Ebay :)

Story of shopping in US Ebay. :D

I did some Ebay US shopping last year. Anne went to San Francisco to spend time with our grandma and so she brought these back! :) A black & a brown leather coach bag.

I went a little crazy over leather coach bags and the seller offered a fix price for both colours so I bought them. Although their actual sizes are smaller than what I pictured when I paid, I still like them, they're from the 70s era and still have the nice leather smell... If you're here, you would've seen me carry them a lot on weekends. :D

My mum's youngest brother, Uncle Charles told us that he was coming to Malaysia for a week in August. Well... enough said, I did more shopping on Ebay US. :D I have to say, Ebay UK and Ebay US are quite different. Not only the brands differ, the sizes also. I have to make sure I'm checking the right sizes, some UK brand clothing might list their size in UK measurement, one can get really confused by that. :) I pray hard that I didn't buy anything wrong.. Urban outfitters and Asos are my favourite brands on Ebay US so far, other than Coach. :D This round I didn't buy coach bags because I already have 2, and I also stopped hunting for polka dot dress. I'm now more obsessed about plain single coloured dresses and T-strap shoes. :P

Uncle Charles finally brought these back for me in August!!

Forever 21 yellow & white striped blouse for RM25.

It's very comfortable. I wore it the night itself after I received it. :D

Asos black chiffon dress for RM71.

I like it a lot, purchased the UK size 10, and turns out it's a little too loose on me. But it should be easy to alter, I plan to alter it myself one of these days when I have time to sew. I've pinned on the part of the dress that needs to be tighten. It's also a little transparent although it comes with an inner dress. I wonder how the people in UK or US wear it....

Urban Outfitters T-strap flats!! This is what I've been dreaming to own!! I bought it for RM68. Much cheaper than those I found on Ebay UK.

Sadly, I bought US size 9, I must've read the size chart wrongly, it's too big for my feet. :( When I wear it it's as if I was wearing boots... guess who I gave it to? ANNE!!! :D Although a little tight on the side but it fits her. She's been wearing lady like shoes, so this is a good addition to her pile. Hehe. But that just means my hunt for t-strap flats is still on-going. Haha.

I also purchased a brown belt for RM7 but it didn't reach Uncle Charles's house in time, so that'll be sent back next year's CNY because my mum & Anne is going over to visit our grandma again. :)

Here's another one I bought over Ebay US last month, requested it to be shipped to my house here. :D I paid in total RM96 for it. River Island black high waist pencil skirt!

I tried my best not to buy this kind of skirt over Ebay but I've search through the whole mall on a public holiday, and couldn't find a single black high waist skirt like this!! It's so frustrating because my feet were tired and my time was wasted... I went on Ebay again and found SO MANY different choices of the kind of skirts I was looking for. I did some calculation and finally decided to purchase this one. Again, I was not confident to order a size 8 so I went for size 10.

It came to my house within a week, so fast! I imemdiately opened the package and tried it on, oops it's again too loose for me. Anyway looser is better than tighter, at least I can always alter it to my size. I can't do this on my own so I sent to a tailor near my house, paid RM25 for it and it became a perfect fitting skirt! :D :D I wore it to church last Sunday with a black top and a brown belt and a pair of black pumps, many people thought I was wearing a dress, it is so fitting! :D

I've stopped buying anything on Ebay, saving up for Bangkok's shopping in Feb 2012. :) I'm very careful these days not just because trying to keep expenses low, but also because my wardrobe space is really limited (I only have a 2 door wardrobe for hanging clothes and a plastic 4 layer drawer for the folded clothes), unless I throw out some old pieces, there really isn't space for the new batch. :P
