The idiot hit us from right, then drove to the left lane, wind down his window, passed his name card to me and said in Cantonese "call me tomorrow". Joshua shouted at him say to stop at the side to talk it through. The guy refused and sped off, Joshua chased! We almost hit 2 other cars during the chasing, praise God for protection!! Joshua kept on honning and flashing at him, until USJ2 in front of Summit, he had to drive into the housing area to avoid too much attention from the slow traffic at the main road. He finally slowed down and then Joshua stopped in front of him. Joshua got down to talk to him while I went over to driver's seat to wait. I called Ah Keong our old mechanic while waiting.. hahaha.. He still remembers me as Alex's sister. :D Anyway idiot refused to get down from the car, Joshua said lets go to police station, he refused. Joshua said he need to make a phone call to understand the procedures, idiot threatened to drive off immediately.
Cut long story short. Daniel came to check on us, I called him during the F1 car chasing. Idiot drove off after Joshua confirmed with Edwin (our church friend) we only need his car plate number. We went to police station, make report.. and by the time we reach home.. 11pm plus. :( Try not to let the experience affect us, we still wrap all our presents.
The car door cannot be opened from outside.
We parked the car at SS15 house and borrowed a car from Elder Peng Hoe on Christmas Day. My uncle (Sa Jek) is our insurance agent and he said it's best to bring the car back to Muar for him to supervise the insurance claims and repair. Joshua collected the police report on Thursday (29th December). The idiot called Joshua the same day to blame him for not calling idiot as requested, crazy.. and he said "you just wait and see". On Friday, 30th December, the sergeant called Joshua and asked whether idiot called. We didn't even give idiot our number so we guess sergeant has revealed Joshua's number. -_- Sergeant said the idiot also made his report and said WE banged into HIM !! Idiot lied... Joshua said "he lied. We made the report first, he didn't even want to follow us to police station that day". Sergeant just said "ok ok" and that's all. No conclusion.
On 31st December, we slowly drove the Myvi back to Muar. Brought to Sin Lai Heng, the car workshop Sa Jek recommended. Workshop boss say he can't do claims unless the police decided to summon the idiot. We tried calling the sergeant to find out the decision but sergeant was on leave.... he did picked up but didn't sound happy. :S We thought oh man.. did the idiot bribe him???? Workshop boss say we can keep the car there until they know they can start repairing.. so we went off for lunch with a burden in our heart.... God... we didn't do anything wrong... :(
Anyway, we drove Anne's Perdana, our mum decided call it Peter, back to Subang on 1st January. On 3rd January, Joshua called the sergeant again, wanting to get a final result so we can start repairing our car......... sergeant said "you both come police station tomorrow to settle lah" Hmm.. we don't want to call that idiot! I managed to get in touch with my friend who's an inspector! He's a good friend from Pagoh, we do student camps together during Form 5. His name is Shiong Shan. It's always been his ambition to be a police and he is now an inspector, haha.. so proud of him. Anyway he told me, just go and hear the police out, if the case doesn't settle, he will talk to the sergeant. His pangkat is higher than sergeant... wowwww.. suddenly the word sergeant seemed so small to me! :D :D I know this is small issue in God's eyes.. this really boosted our confidence! :D
4th January, Joshua's birthday, he went to see the sergeant alone.
Sergeant said he only need to know one answer "which lane were you driving in?" Joshua said "Middle lane I'm very sure" Sergeant said idiot claimed we hit him from the left and ended up on the right lane. I'm sure sergeant can tell from the damage of our cars.. who is not telling the truth!! Justice has prevailed !! on 4th Jan 2012 he issued a final report to us, that he will summon the idiot, hallelujah !!!! Praise God !! :D :D
Just as we wanted to send the report back to Muar, we were told the initial report Joshua made, has the date typed wrongly. -_- Poor Joshua has to go back to police station twice just to obtain a letter on the correction on date. But finally finally finally, he managed to send everything by Pos Laju to Sin Lai Heng workshop last week. :) He also followed up and know that the report has arrived and the documentation is all fine to proceed. :) God is good!
One thing.. u know the idiot's name? His name is BILLY Lai. It's even on his IC! Oh he is born in year 1988 according to his IC number so he is really a young idiot. He works in Hong Leong Bank, doing some mortgage sales, can't remember details because we decided to throw his name card away. Spoil the cute name of Billy!! Joshua and I have decided to REname our Kia Forte to JOHNNY. No more Billy. Blekkkk.
On 15th Jan 2012 (Sunday), Anne drove back our Myvi. :) We miss it so much! Anne missed her Peter too, when she sat behind the wheels, she wind down her window and said to me "I miss my baby!!" Hahahaa...
