However... the pattern on this fabric... is a little... messy and overly matured? Am I overly conscious? :P Anywayy... I think the electric blue belt helps to divert attention on the fabric design a bit, and then the long sleeve cardigan helps cover up half of the dress....
so yahhh... I wore this to work on Thursday, the day before everyone presses on the "casual" button! :D
Here's another of my mum's maxi skirt! This one is the 2nd longest of all her maxi skirts. :) I've worn this twice to church, It took me quite a lot of courage to wear it! A friend, Wern Lu commented that I look great. :) :) So it's not that bad... hahaha... another friend thought I was wearing a crop top.. haha... no no I tucked in. :D
I wore this on Saturday, when Anne and I brought our mum to her tailor at Fahrenheit to tailor make dress to wear on my brother's wedding day.
One of the tailors saw me and said I put on weight!! I think it's just this skirtt... makes me look chubby on my middle part! :P Hey, I never say I have a small waist, did I? :P
My mum's black lace dress. :) She never worn it if not wrong, according to her, the material is too stiff and hard, not comfortable for long hours wearing. I am not as fussy so I could take it, and therefore now it's mine! :D Of course before that, we let her tailor alter it to my size. :) More fitter at waist and shorter in length. ;)

I've worn this to church 2 to 3 times.. one day Uncle Ronnie came to tell me "Joan, your dress is very nice!"

This is a 68 years old uncle telling me he likes my dress.... so I must've looked like a girl that just walked out from the 1990s era...? :P :P Hahahaha.
