My 5th month of pregnancy :) Can't thank God and praise God enough for the journey thus far :) :)
I was really looking forward to see my breasts fuller and my face chubbier.. but nope, the way I see it, I only have my belly growing at the moment. :D So, I could still wear some of my regular clothes and surviving on my mum's loose dresses. And some friends are passing me their loose clothes too.
Here's a dress purchased in San Francisco, one of the Guess shops in 2008, was hunting for a pink dress for a themed wedding (those days I go all out to buy something just to match a wedding theme, so glad that phase has passed and I have a more meaningful targets in life hahahahaha), anyway I bought this dress without considering how come a regular Guess dress has so much room at the belly area!
I soon discovered the awkward middle part of this dress especially after getting married, I don't want people to misunderstand so I stopped wearing this dress. I kept it aside hoping when I really am pregnant, I can wear it as much as I like. Praise God it is now one of my favourite work dresses and I too wear it for Sunday services. :D And of course, wear it when I do laundry, haha.. This is a lazy and exhausted Joshua on a Sunday evening....
And then he was hopping for joy when we managed to buy MBO tickets online to watch Iron Man! :D Our printer is located at the skyroom so everytime we print something, we need to walk in and out. Hehe.
Weekday night, went for Jimmy & Elaine's house warming. For the first time I put on this yellow top. I mistakenly bought this maternity top during one of the Cats' Whiskers crazy sales. So glad I get to wear it for real now. :)
And I love this pair of white pants.. thank you Shin Wee! :D
1st May - labour day holiday, I suggested to Joshua that we should try this famous pork noodle near our house. I have not tasted it for years, the stall was walking distance from 73 but after they moved, I have not visited. We waited an hour for this... and waiting this long is extremely normal. Joshua didn't think the 1 hour was worthwhile, hehehehehe..
Weekday night, typical me wanting to eat maggi goreng and I was selfish that night to the extent I asked for double i.e. 2 packs of maggi mee.... :P It was YUMMY...... Joshua had chap fan, I took some chicken and vege just so that I have a more balanced meal....
Election was coming - 5th May! Joshua edited this photo and posted on his instagram & Facebook, more people guessed that I'm pregnant.. haha... I like it that we're keeping this very low profile. :) I like my privacy... many if not most people in church likes to openly announce on Facebook about such news. :S Well I know it's personal preference, but I admit I find these people very lack-of-attention. Sorry for judging.. :P
4th May Saturday - Anne drove me back to Muar at 5am in the morning! We reached Muar 7.30am and my first mission was my ZUI KEH !! I have been missing this since first trimester!
I went a little overboard to buy from 2 stalls!! Hahaha... and in total I bought 3 packs, each pack contains 10 pieces of the steamed rice cake. :)
Yuuummmmsssss... I don't know why my family are not as crazy about this as me... I think I ate 20+ pieces all by myself.
In the afternoon while spending time in kitchen, Anne and I cleaned some birds' nests. Put it simply, if I don't do it, no one will and the birds nest will sit in the cabinet until no one dares to eat it anymore.
5th May Sunday morning - it's the day we're going to exercise our rights! :D Here's my lovely lovely lovely family. :)
And me, oh and xiao huang but you can't see him in this picture. :P
Joshua was in Subang the whole time, because his voting station is in USJ. He was so early that he was 5th in line! He went with a backpack containing his ipad, coffee in hot water flask, water and I think books or snacks? He was so kia su that he was prepared to camp in the line.
Here's me and Anne at our station in Muar. Whatsapp helped us keep each other updated.
Joshua completed his mission much earlier. He was the first one to come out with the finger stained with the indellible ink, he said people queueing up clapped and cheered for him!
My brother was in a different age group and he completed his mission second. ;)
Then us 3 completed ours too!
Then we went to pick up mummy from office and went with her to her voting station. She finally voted for the very first time in her life, yes, she is virgin voter. In fact my wholeeeeee family except for Joshua are virgin voters.
We didn't wait any longer, Anne, mummy and I immediately drove to Subang Jaya. We were worried there will be traffic jam but thank God we arrived within normal time frame. In time for lunch with Joshua at pan mee shop. Joshua sitting like an ah pek while talking to mummy about elections. :)
And I didn't forget this weekly assignment. :) This time with my finger stained, this vote is to sow for a better future for xiao huang!
6th May Monday, yes the election result was not what we all expected but I still got to go to work. Haha. I took more dresses from my mummy and was immediately wearing one of them. :D From side view the bump is quite obvious that's why Anne was pointing... hehe. It's fun to see my mum working in my kitchen after I come back from work. :) :)
Friday, another dress of mummy. :) I was able to come home as early as 3pm after our company's Annual Budget Planning Meeting in SS12.
11 May Saturday - another baby fair at Midvalley. Joshua and I thought we're ready to buy something but turns out we're still very overwhelmed! This car seat.. can cost up to RM800 to RM1000!! Of course there are local brands that cost only RM300 but how reliable is reliable?
Then my colleague Hoong Ling sent me photo of her stroller that she said I can use. :) So sweet of her. It's combi brand and we immediately saw the sample of this stroller, learnt how to use it etc. I don't fancy the orange colour but can't complain when it's free. Hehe...
Then came time to review all the available milk bottles, I actually scrolled bak my whatsapp converation with Shin Wee where she taught me a bit about milk bottle brands. Haha... so much to learn...
We were told all the promo offers on milk bottles were sold out and there will be another fair in July!! Praise God! So we definitely will make sure we buy milk bottles, bottle warmer and car seat by then!
We left... feeling so tired... so much in our head. Haha..
But I'm thankful I have my best friend with me on this journey. :) All these new things we experience together really does make us cherish each other more.. :)
Weekday night, I was fed up with what I have to face in office (psycho boss mainly) and requested that Joshua brings me to a proper japanese dinner. :) Here we are at Sakae Sushi in Subang Parade.
I'm glad I could still wear this dorothy perkins top. :)
But I sure look odd from side view. Hahaha... don't care la... :P
In office, we had a black attire day, a silent protest. Not against the government but our head of department... the psycho woman... -____-
I realised pregnancy made me lost some fashion sense when I put this on and then realised I look so out just before I enter my car. I don't want to be late so I just went to work in it. Hahahaha...
Sunday... one of those special Sundays Joshua is serving at Mandarin Service. :) It's so rare for us to be attending the same service, but I hope this will improve once our little prince arrive. :)
Joshua had to stay on to play for Central service, but I came home to rest. I sent this photo to mummy and thanked her for helping me stay in fashion during this phase, hehehe. I loveeeee my mama!!
21st May - check up before we FLY to Melbourne for a week's holiday!
Waited the longest this time because Dr Rama had a labour to attend to... causing all his appointments to be delayed.. :( Was supposed to meet my colleagues & ex-colleague for dinner but had to tell them I can't make it.
Finally my turn. I'm a terrible mum because I totally can't interpret this picture. :( I know we saw baby's head, eyes, nose, lips... but really can't figure out this picture. Haha.
Doctor applied so much cream and kept on trying to detect the gender because he understands that we may buy baby clothes in Melbourne. See the gel already stained my favouite white pants! :( Anyway baby kept on moving, doctor could not get a screeenshot of the chili in between his legs, he could only tell us "most probably a boy". :)
Our late dinner near hospital.. not nice.. :(
On our way back home, one of the myvi tyres went flat! We had to stopped at road side to change... thank God this happened when Joshua is with me. :) Apparently the tyres had expired in 2007... haha.. I didn't know tyres has expiry date!
I wish I could help out.. but all I could was to watch... pass him tissue to wipe sweat and erm... that's all. :P
That's all... ! Eventful 5th month with mixed emotions concerning the strong urge to find a new job but couldn't do much about it because of my upcoming maternity... oh God please help sustain me!! :D
