29 July Monday, again after work I went straight into photobook mode. Weather was so so hot.. I felt my belly so suffocated so I lifted my t-shirt for some ventilation... Joshua attempted to take a photo but was not welcomed... look at my stretch marks! Eeee.... pai se pai se.....
It's reallyyyy annoying when I kept hitting this photobook error when trying to create proofs! Gave me sleepless nights... I emailed to photobook support for help, tried their tips and managed to solve the issue... this project is tough!
3rd Aug Saturday, Joshua managed to apply final paint coat on the repaired wall directly after his drum classes.
Praying that we don't have to do anything to this wall anymoreeee.... once and for all !Oh ya... on Friday.. a young malay boy from rich family reversed into me at Smart Tag lane. He immediately reverse without looking back when his Smart Tag failed to be detected. -_- I had to stop in between 2 Smart Tag lanes to talk to him about the damage. If you recall, I hit someone from behind once at the Kewajipan roundabout more than 6 months ago and didn't bother to fix the bumper crack because I could still open the bonnet. So now.. when I look at my bumper... nothing much has changed except for the cracked number plate.... I called Joshua and he said just ask him for RM100 as compensation. So I did. The boy said he need to go home to take money and will meet me at my office, as he stays nearby.
He came before lunch time.. how I know he is from rich family? He hit me with a Peugeot and he came in a Pajero to pay me the RM100. Anyway nice boy, name is Haiqal. I wished him happy new year and we parted ways.
Friday night.... I shared testimony at Homes that I wasn't hurt as the accident was minor and thank God for protection as well because standing between 2 smart tag lanes inspecting car damage was really dangerous. :)
After Homes, our hommie Samuel tried to open my bonnet to check for any potential engine damage... we realised it's JAMMED !! Oh no! I didn't know the damage was this great!! I immediately wondered whether the RM100 will be sufficient to fix it, and whether I short-changed myself???
Saturday 9am, Joshua sent myvi to nearby workshop to assess damage, they quoted RM220 for repairing the cracked bumper and fix the bonnet. I decided to kiv. At 1pm, we sent myvi to our old-time mechanic at USJ near Summit, they quoted RM170 for the similar work.... we took it. When we got it back at 6pm, it didn't look neat... the part where they glued back the cracked part was black in colour with some scratches. Not very nice but as long as the bonnet can be opened I'm good with it. Not a bad deal to just pay RM70 on my own right? :)
Here's me on Saturday evening, after returning from Salt (Acts Leadership Training).
Our little princess is getting bigger by day... and church friends were all wow-ing. :)
Here's a closed up. :)
The whole weekend, as and when I have free time, I will be in front of laptop doing photobook, I really want to complete this so that I can fully focus on baby Jasmine... I was very determined, that this week I must complete it.
Total 76 pages, and kid you not, thousands of photos. @.@
4th August Sunday, before meeting our confinement lady, we were at a baby shop in The Curve... bought mattress cover, pillow case, bolster cases, towel, blankets and microfiber facial towels!
I didn't know the mattress cover were expensive... I thought RM39.90 for one was normal, until I found out Ikea was selling RM39.90 for two! -_-
Joshua likes to zoom in to take Jasmine's photo. :D
I had a hard time picking out the pillow & bolster cases, yes they have many choices but not many are niceee..........
We ended up getting the pink one on the right, asked the sales girl to open up from the package. Joshua is feeling very sleepy.. because he served at the Cyberjaya church plant which required him to start shifting equipments at 6.30am! Poor guy... but we believe God will reward his faithful servant abundantly. :) :)
At night, while watching movie, I was playing with the new beddings I bought...
These bolsters were purchased earlier in Mama Paradise, I'm removing all the cases, need to wash them all soon!
My favourite blanket, the cute cupcakes. :D
Then we also went through the bag of clothes my friend Jessica lend to us, and found this pair of socks extremely cute! Can't wait to see baby Jasmine wearing them!
After I put all the items to be washed in a bag, before I go to bed, I tried to sew nursing shawl... but wasn't successful. The fabric seems to be too short........
Anne was back in Muar and told me about this mangosteens in Muar! I loveee to eat mangosteens and immediately was drooling over them. I asked Anne to buy me a box of it, but my colleagues said I better wait till after my confinement because mangosteen is considered 野味... :( So Anne sent me this photo..... she put me on mangosteens cravings, haha not really cravings but I really want to eattt.....
Finally ordered total of 6 outfits for baby Jasmine from Carter's clearance section at the cost of approx. RM130! Also helped Shin Wee ordered 2 for DJ and have these shipped to Uncle Charles's home. :) Anne and my mummy will bring these back by early September. :) The sizes I bought are 12m and 18m... because some designs has ran out of small sizes.... but they are too cute not to buy. :P
6 August Tuesday, gynae visit again. :) Were supposed to see him a week earlier but we delayed. We are now advised to see him every fortnightly. My belly look so huge and plastic-y here! And those stretch marks...... -_- Doctor suggested applying bio-oil or cocoa butter.. but I do think it's too late and the marks are inevitable to a certain extent.
We signed up for the antenatal class, RM150 per couple. :)
7 August, last day of my good churchmate/colleague in F&N. :) Jessica was the one who told Joshua about the vacancy in F&N back in 2011 and that's how I got into this company, and then made such good bunch of friends. :) After 4.5 years in F&N, have a baby boy, she's decided to move to a new company - Sanofi Aventis with 30% increase in pay. So happy for her!
Here you can see Richard staring at my bump, his wife just gave birth to a baby girl and he can't stop telling me "your bump is really round and big! my wife's was small compared to yours."
8 August Raya holiday begins! We went for McD breakfast before driving to Port Dickson for Acts Family Camp. Yes, our first time joining the Family Camp. :)
Joshua didn't believe that Jasmine looks like him in the 4D scan Doctor Rama did for us the night before, even after I put a side by side comparison he couldn't see the resemblance still! Well I just hope Jasmine don't get my nose... :P
Here we are at PD at about 4pm !
Jasmine looking so big from this angle.. she's moving a lot! :)
During camp, I felt a weird pain on the part just below my bra line... I thought it was my bra that was too tight, but even without bra the pain was still there...... I called it the mysterious pain... it comes on and off.
At night, the pain below my bra line continues to worsen and it was focused on the right side only.. I felt so miserable that I messaged my gynae, he replied that it was rib-cage muscles stretching and is normal. Google results says it's because my uterus has expanded so much that my other organs are being pushed upwards therefore my rib cage are more tensed...... some say that baby's leg might be stretched till my rib cage... sounds so scary. Anyway Joshua helped to apply counter pain and I managed to sleep with it......
This is Sunday morning, us having breakfast at the back garden, that's my mum's new patio furniture :D Rib cage muscle aches has reduced a lot.. thank God!
So much food! Mummy always over-fed us. There were musang durians too!!
That's my mum and Anne manja-ing each other.. :) They helped me wash baby Jasmine's clothes & beddings! Yes I took back to Muar so that I can complete something this weekend. Both of them were laughing over how small the clothes are... :D so fun to see them having fun. :)
I was wearing Anne's t-shirt.
And then we hang out at the living room the whole afternoon. The guys playing x-box, I was arranging 2013 photos on my laptop while chatting with Anne & mummy. Photobook 2012 was sent for printing, I hope I get it soon!
At 5pm finally we're on our way back to Subang... and traffic was bad due to Raya... Jasmine moved so much that she tickled my bladder a few times, I told her please don't tickle because the rest stations were all crowded. Thank God I could wait until we reach SS15 to pee.... hehehe.. :)
At one point of time, I could see the right side of my belly bulging out, Jasmine was right there, hehe and then after a while, she moved back in..
Can you see the before & after? :D :D
Look at what my mum did to all Jasmine's clothes & beddings. She packed like a professional dobi. All in new transparent plastic bags by categories.
So neatly folded, I suspect she even ironed some of them....
Grandmother's love what can I say! :D :D
