Here's how it all started. One night, I was so bored about everything at home, and just decided to randomly click on a show on my handphone in PPS.TV. This drama called "Cheongdamdong Alice" has 9.5 rating out of 10. Although the name was not appealing and the actors & actresses didn't look familiar or good looking, I watched anyway. The first scene was where Park Si Hoo appeared as the CEO of a branded handbag company based in Korea. I was NOT impressed.
Was thinking to myself, don't tell me this is the main actor? So ugly??
And because this man is CEO, he was snobbish and act as if he is so good looking? I didn't like him at all.
And then came a scene he bared his top body in a yoga centre, well then I understood why he can be the main actor of this drama, cheh.. because of his body... so shallow..... then I kept on watching because the story line was interesting........
Apparently he plays a CEO who is mentally ill, was badly hurt by both family and lover, so he likes to take revenge and laugh crazily at how people reacted when he took revenge... hmm.. I thought his acting was so so only..... cos I can do a crazy evil laugh like that anytime... :P
Then...... he started to show anger and frustration when his doctor friend told him he needs treatment, and frustrated when he couldn't shed a tear even though he tried very hard (one of his illness symptoms). I started to find him quite cute..... because of his expressions.. haha...
And he finally cried!! He was so cute he was surprised that his one precious tear rolled down, he went in front of mirror, he was so happy there were tears and then he just let himself cried all the way.... wow.. now I confirmed he really can act!! I didn't know his character has so many levels!
And he fell in love with the actress and started to act jealous....
Funny... trying to hide his feelings by giving lame excuses... SO CUTE!!
And being so dramatically shy....... hahaha...
And the funniest scene in the hospital after he accidentally drank benzene. It's hard to describe what happened, you just got to watch it yourself! it's Episode 5! :D :D I loveeeeeee him!!! Up to this episode, I confirmed that I am sooooooo in love with this man!!!!
And of course he finally got his girl... Who won't love him!! Hmmm.. the girl is not very pretty but still look cute in some angles.. I focused more on the actor hehehe I love his smile!! So charming!!
Ok really, I am now a big fan of Park Si Hoo. Cheongdamdong Alice is like the newest drama because it is currently airing in Korea, 2 episodes weekly, which means I had to wait 1 week to watch 2 episodes... the feeling was killing me, I need to know what happen next @.@
So while waiting, I read about him, he is very popular in Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan. I discovered his other movie - Princess Man. I watched the whole thing on youtube in 1 full day. I skipped some episodes because youtube didn't have it due to copyright issues, but good enough for me to follow through the story line..... HE IS SO DIFFERENT in Princess Man and equally GOOD!! and IMPRESSIVE!!!
He was a handsome & charming hero... who fell deeply in love with a girl.. who turned out to be his enemy's daughter.
In short, his entire family was killed by the girl's father. And he only found out about the girl's identify after his family were killed. How sad!! It was not an easy character to play but I think he did very very very well...
So different compared to the crazy CEO in Cheongdamdong Alice, but still could convince me of his character in the drama.. this I believe is what we call PROFESSIONAL ACTOR. He really is.. good. :) Not just good looking, but has quality & talent!! Wooo hoo!!!
The only complain I have about him is.... the actresses that played his girlfriend in other dramas were all horrible or low class looking!! All the faces tells me is all post plastic surgery... and is badly done. -_- Eg. Prosecutor Princess, 家门的荣光 and Queen Reversal... I read about the show but when I saw the actress's faces... so ugly.. made me don't want to watch the drama...
I strongly encourage watching Princess Man because his girlfriend is the prettiest of all the girlfriends in all his movies :D Plus, the drama is based on real history... :) :)
Just sharing on one of the things / man... I'm currently obsessed with. :P If you have time, just youtube him! I'm sure you will loveeeeeee him... hehehehe.
If you really interested to watch, Cheongdamdong Alice has been discontinued in PPS.TV so just go to gooddrama.net to watch it with english subtitles. I was so kan cheong about this drama until I secretly watched it in office (during work hours or if I'm good girl I do it during lunch hour) because the episode aired in Korea on Sunday night will only be available on Monday! :P :P Or sometimes I googled for the episode's summary... hehehe.. don't tell my boss please.
Lastly, Park Si Hoo is simply awesome. ;) And I hope you will get to know his awesomeness. ;)
